Hello all, and welcome a to Fate/History! This is a YouTube show I've started, with the purpose of comparing the historical/legendary characters that appear in the fate universe, with their real counterparts. (though calling it Fate/History/Legends sounds a bit too long, eh?) If anyone wants me to do another character next time, feel free to ask me. So for my first episode, I've chosen Saber-chan, and the original Arthur Pendragon. Enjoy: Please not: My comparison is meant for hilarity/education purposes only. Are you running your computer with Japan system locale? (link to instructions): Not applicable Game Name: Fate/Stay Night for DS (generated from Fuwanovel version of Fate/Stay Night) Description of Problem: I get a crash partway through the magical-energy replenishing scene. On my 3ds this results in an error-dump, on my DSLite however it results in a full-on crash. Your Operating System: CTR (3DS operating system) and Nitro (DS operating system) 64 or 32 bit: 32bit, but that doesn't matter as it's a DS rom and all DS roms are 32bit What did you already try? (Uninstall/Reinstall, Redownload, Run as admin, etc): restored from previous save and re-followed path, same error occured. Did you download your game from Fuwanovel?: Sorta, the game was converted from the fuwanovel version of the game using the 1.2.5 converter found at http://weeaboo.nl

It might be because of the "read only" riles but I don't know how to change them. Help Please.

I admit I'm not super good with computers, so please bear with me if I have actually just made some really silly mistake or I don't immediately provide the right information. I got my Fate/Stay Night [Realta Nua] through my friend. I didn't have problems with installing the game or running it, and I finished the Fate route without problems. UBW didn't have any problems at first either, but in the beginning of the 10th day when Rin is coming over, the game suddenly shows me an error screen (image in the end of this post). I use Windows 7 (32 bit) and my applocale is in Japanese. Unfortunately, I'm not sure where my game file is downloaded from. The readme was also added by my friend who gave me brief instructions of what to do. However, the instructions all led to fuwanovels so I would assume the game is also from here. I have already tried running as an admin, making sure the files are not in read only -mode and have also tried to check my other save files to see if they have problems or if I could access this scene through them instead. I also went throgh different forums in hopes of finding anyone with the same error, but I found none. Something worth noticing maybe: on the day this problem occurred, I opened my computer to see it had somehow installed norton antivirus on my chrome and also on my desktop, despite the fact I don't even use it anymore (ran out of subscription ages ago). Changing my applocale back in days had turned my Paint Tool SAI to use dots in stead of Ä and Ö I use to name my layers, but on that day they had changed to actual Japanese markings instead (and have stayed like that ever since). Something has definitely changed but I'm not sure are they actually related to my game problem still. Also, I ran my antivirus but it didn't find anything worth noticing.

Hey everyone I'm running into an error while playing Fate/Stay Night on my android phone. After certain decisions the text turns into a mix of kanji and arrabic characters before changing back to english later on. I've looked through other posts and found that this is due to corrupt scripts and that they can be fixed by replacing them with uncorrupted scripts. It seems all of the links to a copy of healthy scripts are deleted. Does anyone here happen to have a copy or know of where I can get one?

So out of curiousity which of these did you like better? As for me I can't really say since I've only watched the fate/zero anime and have only most of the fate route in the VN.

Okay so i'm around the end of heavens feel when all of a sudden a game error pops up. I have to close the game but when I try to launch it I get this screen I really want to finish heavens feel so please help EDIT:okay fixed! Found out it was still running in task manager

Yes, I have Japanese locale enabled. I have windows 8 on a dell laptop. When I played the Fate route, the game generally ran fine. However, as soon as I hit the first berserker encounter in my UBW playthrough, I the game started crashing at random points and would show japanese text in a box when it did so. I followed the directions here: http://visualnovelaer.fuwanovel.net/2013/02/android-sundays-fatestay-night/ and got up to the part where you head to Ryudou Temple after Saber and the sound cuts out and I see a bunch of Japanese characters. Repeatedly tapping results in the text continuing in Japanese but no sound or image changes. I followed that blog and had no problems with Ever17. I was really enjoying F/SN and would like to finish it. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey, can you help me? I downloaded the game, unzipped it, played a bit. It has patch 3.1 by mirror moon, TakaJun, ArchDemon and puKKa. It's one big file with fate.exe in it. Plus savedata and savedata_bak in it. I have fate_savedata in Documents, and for some reason My Documents is inaccessible. I want to add the newest patch, " PC version Mirror Moon TL insertion project", http://forums.nrvnqsr.com/showthread.php/4745-Fate-Stay-Night-Realta-Nua-PC-version-Mirror-Moon-TL-insertion-project?p=1470756&viewfull=1#post1470756 but it says in the readme that I need a 'faterealtanua savedata' file, a Fate game folder, an Unlimited Blade Works game folder, and a Heaven's Feel game folder. I don't have any of those. I could rename the fate_savedata folder in Documents, but otherwise I only have Fate.exe. Do you know what I should do? Further information: I don't have a title screen, nor a music menu or a movie menu. I think that I might have downloaded a different platform (meaning I have a pc game downloaded rather than a playtstation game or something) than the patch wants me to have. Is that likely? Do I have to uninstall, then reinstall with a pristine ISO before I can use the patch?

Hi! I'm new to this site and relatively new to visual novels as well. I recently started playing Fate/Stay Night. When I downloaded it at first, it wouldn't even open so I had a friend compress the file and post it on google drive. I downloaded it from there and it ran relatively smoothly. However I start having a problem during the scene where Saber is first introduced and is about to kill Tohsaka. Right after Tohsaka 'accepts her fate', my game restarts. I've tried to skip the scene, but it just restarts the game once more and says 'skip cancelled' in the bottom bar. I don't know if anyone will see this or know the solution, but I REALLY want to complete this game because it looks really fun to play. If you have any advice whatsoever that would be helpful. Also, I DO have my computer set to japanese locale. -TheShinyGaz

(But I still have all my savings process) im pretty desperate right now, im new to all matter of visual novels. so any help is welcome, And ill be glad if someone here can help me. Hey, it's datOtakuGuy!! The last post I made was regarding how to translate a VN, and I've been given great answers on how to do that. So, I took the time to browse through 'TLWIKI Tools' and installed a couple of extraction software; Susie, ExtractData and CRASS and the xp3tool created by insani (I think ). I've also downloaded Fate/Stay Night since there were tools out there already (and even though it's already translated by MirrorMoon ) After playing around with the different tools, I managed to grab the files containing .tlg at the end. As an example, I extracted "bgimage.xp3" using the xp3tool from insani. Of course, I didn't know how to open up the .tlg files, so I researched a couple of forums telling me how to use the Susie tool. It was a pain at first trying to turn the menu into English but I did it in the end B) - but then I got confused, I used Susie on a .tlg file and it says "Notice: UnknownType...". I then realised you need to extract "bgimage.xp3" with Susie, so I did that and now it gives me the same error message. I'm assuming that this error is shown because it doesn't recognise the file type or something??? Any help would be appreciated, thanks again!
