Some characters randomly act like idiots or assholes, half of the jokes disappear and you only get the general idea what is going on. I'm talking about common route and Kotori's route so far. The twins' routes might be worse, the first script was kinda overflowing with nonsense. Oh, and the English is generally awful, too. If you like the VN, wait a long while and read it with actually passable TL. I doubt I have the patience to wait that long, so I will finish it (as irritating as it is to read the horrendous TL, the VN itself is actually really enjoyable). But I will surely reread the entire thing once a new TL is complete.

The Steam-patch that will include the partial re-translation is in the works, but I'm not familiar with technical details, so I don't know when it will be finished (it was supposed to be done quite a while ago, but apparently proved a bit more problematic than we initially estimated). @Zacbuscus Currently, I'm almost done with polishing the common route for the Steam-patch. Along with Kotori's route and a small fragment of twins' routes, it's more or less half of the whole VN. It's hard to estimate anything, since my TL-speed changes a lot depending on various real life distractions (mainly my work). I don't think I will have enough patience to keep working on this for more than a year though, so the rough ETA should be somewhere around the end of 2015.

Unfortunately, the actual relevant parts, the storyline, remain impossible to comprehend. I have been told tales of people who were able to understand it... I think. But I'd say it's pretty hard if not actually impossible.

Well at least as long as it has voice it should be not hard to understand it right? At least there should be still some line which is correctly translated (Maybe I should use word big eye to any woman with big breast as euphemism lol) . Well in worst case I think I better treat Ageha route as machine translation at worst. I must said even with some help (walkthrough and all) I was survived using MT Patch from Soukoku no Arterial and the story is not that bad but the translation is. Thanks in advance and once again praise the lord of mighty porn for restore all 7 of Ageha scene because from what I heard Ageha without H scene is actually very mess.

I found out Kono Oozora in Steam and decided to give it a go, yes it's really fun to play (read/watch?) anyway, I'm not sure if anyone reported this already but there's some problem with the CG. since it has something to do with the story so I'll just put some spoiler the scene where Amane, Ageha and Kotori took bath together after Amane got dragged to Flying Fish Manor, the scene went white, but I did unlock the CG in gallery when I saved and went out to take a look. btw I haven't finish the game but as I'm pretty sure that the patch should be working since there wasn't anything covering Kotori when Aoi saved her in the bath room.

Zacbuscus Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 I managed to finish Ageha's route without that much trouble. Yeah, it was the most confusing out of all the routes. Yeah, it had the most mistakes. But I still liked it. I honestly liked the whole VN. Ageha is a hilarious character, and honestly, if/when her route is translated, it'll probably be my favorite. Besides Kotori. Who is like, the greatest. Waifu for life.

Also is the steam patch planned on being the second patch that is going to iron out a lot of the grammatical errors and engrish in the game or is that also a later project? P.S. Pabloc Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 The new patch is mainly meant to fix technical issues, but it will also include all re-translated scripts that will be done when it's released. As of today: Common route is pretty much finished (both TL and editing) while Kotori's route is fully translated and is currently being edited. The very beginning of twins' routes is also translated. As for Sweet Love add-on - I will deal with the main story first. And then... it depends on my motivation and it's length. The shorter it is, the higher the chance I'll pick it up (I'm not promising anything though).

I really hope you TL the sweet love patch, I am sad they didn't TL Kanako route or Hotaru route, Kanako mainly because she is as my favorite girl. I really hope you TL it Pabloc <3. I am considering taking Japenesse in college now so I can try to learn to read VN's I am currently a Senior in HS.
