Kawakami_Complex Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Currently playing Watch Dogs on PC and soon to be playing The Forest Early Access when it comes out tomorrow :3 Quote
nohman Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Most of my time is being sunk into Watch_Dogs at the moment, but I've also been putting some time into Killer is Dead: Nightmare Edition. Very happy it got a PC release. I had some interest in it when it was initially released for consoles, but I never got around to playing it. I'm glad I waited. The $20 price is well-suited to the game. Beyond that, I started a new game in Rune Factory 4 this morning. Pretty hopeful about Farm Story this year. Quote
nohman Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Started playing Conception 2 for the vita. How are you enjoying it so far? I've been considering purchasing it. I don't really mind a cheesy story, so I'm more curious as to how it plays. Quote
LiquidShu Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 How are you enjoying it so far? I've been considering purchasing it. I don't really mind a cheesy story, so I'm more curious as to how it plays. I have beat it and am working on the platinum trophy for it. The English VA is pretty laughable and the lines pretty cheesy. How ever it just adds to the goofy charm and feel the game has. For the story it's the typical protagonist saving the world, I still found it enjoyable though (guess I'm just easy ) The gameplay is pretty close to Persona 4 Golden which I loved. So I might be biased but the gameplay for me was enjoyable enough. The game isn't going to blow you away so you might want to wait for a price drop or sale. If you have the spare change and want a game to play on vita I would consider Conception II. Then again there is Monster Mompiece for a lower price and the card gameplay is very solid. Plus the cards are all cute girls + in my book. Quote
FruitsPunchSamurai Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Mind Zero. English voices are solid. Not far into the game so I can't say much about it yet. SketchingPegasus 1 Quote
~K.S~ Posted May 30, 2014 Posted May 30, 2014 Replayed metal gear solid : twin snakes . Currently downloading Battlefield 3 free on origin , currently free till 3 June HERE >>>> https://www.origin.com/en-ie/store/buy/battlefield-3/pc-download/base-game/standard-edition Quote
BookwormOtaku Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Gotten further into Vesperia PS3, rage quit the Secret Missions (you'd think jumping around so much Zagi would fall off the boat without my help ) and met the new character, Patty and she seems like a neat character so far. Shame I'm going to have to wait a bit till she joins the party. On a side note, could just be me but her voice sounds alot like Mayuki's from Comyu; wonder if it's the same VA... Quote
InvertMouse Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 I've recently played through Child of Light and Transistor. Child of Light looked pretty and the combat system was surprisingly engaging. Playing it on hard provided a challenge that kept me hooked until the end. Well, to be honest, I got fed up right before the ending, so I guess that's cool. Story's a stock as can be fairytale. Transistor was cool. I'm unsure why none of the journalists really mentioned how short the game was. Beat it in five hours. It has replayability but I'm trying to play more titles so I'm out for that. I'm actually grateful it's so short. If they reused enemy patterns too often, there's just no point. The story left a lot to the imagination. To be honest, I focused on the gameplay and failed to give the plot too much attention. Now I'm thinking of giving Hotline Miami another run. Stopped a few hours in the first time around ~ Quote
Satsuki Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 checking out The Forest yeah, as expected from an alpha ver, the game is super buggy, I keep falling off the map or get killed with one punch when my hp is full Quote

Been trying to get the binding coil of bahamut turn - 9 down for the past couple of weeks with my group, so I decided to record one of our nights for lawls posterity's sake https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4DeLIoVTAU Quote

FruitsPunchSamurai Posted June 6, 2014 Posted June 6, 2014 Persona Q. Loving every second of it. this looks good but I don't like that the characters are chibi >. < anyways i'm continuing to practice in Ultra SSF4, need to get back into this. Quote

SketchingPegasus Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Mind Zero. English voices are solid. Not far into the game so I can't say much about it yet. I plan to buy that in the near future...I'd like to know your thoughts on it once you get far enough. Its alot like Persona I've heard, but someone told me the story was cliche so I'm skeptical lol. neromercer Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Get Conception II, you can make babies Monster Monpiece pretty fun card game to (if you like fan service.) People told me Monster Monpiece doesn't only have those great cards (man, I'd buy the game just for that) but also a great gameplay in it... very fun for those peeps who like strategic games (cards are all about strategy, I think?) At the moment I'm playing Drakengard 2, finished Drakengard 1 and loved it, mixed opinions on reviews didn't help at all for me to decide whether to play it or not, so I finally did and... thanks to god I decided to do so. Drakengard 2 is good but doesn't have that Cavia feeling... so I don't feel like it's any better than D1 and atm I'm just wanting to finish things I got to do so I can start playing D2 without any problems. (basically, finish reading To aru Kagaku no Choudenjibou manga, then finish To aru Majutsu no Index SS2 and Endymion no Kiseki novels) After Drakengard 2 I'd love to get NieR, but that most likely won't be the case so I'll finish Etrian Odyssey 1 and try to complete Resonance of Fate (I haven't played this for about 2 months lol) LiquidShu 1 Quote

Its alot like Persona I've heard, but someone told me the story was cliche so I'm skeptical lol. the story is kinda cliche, and yeah it is similar to Persona but not exactly. Honestly it's just like an average j rpg with lots of grinding and leveling up or you will die in the dungeons. Don't buy this game expecting anything special, and you can have some fun.
