Tom Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 While reading VNs (this happened pretty much in most of them) the text skips sometimes when i want to press a button or the mouse to foward. Can that be actually solved or do i have to live with it? it gets very irritating at certain VNs where this heavily occurs (like every 10th line) Quote
Flutterz Posted February 7, 2014 Posted February 7, 2014 I've never had this happen to me, which VNs has this happened in? Quote
Tom Posted February 8, 2014 Author Posted February 8, 2014 Monster Girl Quest 1 as im currently playing, it happens nonstop, its hard to play the games because of that i think it happened hoshizora and some rance games as i remember, but it wasnt something worth mentioning since it happened very rarely Quote
Flutterz Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Well, it's either something with MGQ, and I haven't played it so I can't really help, or it's some quirk with your computer, and I can't help with that either. :/ Quote
Tom Posted February 8, 2014 Author Posted February 8, 2014 will try see how it goes on my leptop Quote
Kaguya Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Control is the (almost) universal button for skipping text in VNs. If you pressed it at any point, mystery solved. This never happened to me, and I played over 200 VNs, including all of the ones you mentioned. You may have also turned on auto without realizing... Those are the only two things I can think of. How weird. Quote
Tom Posted February 8, 2014 Author Posted February 8, 2014 That problem doesnt seem to occure when im playing on the leptop weird indeed Quote
Nosebleed Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 Do you use a mouse? My old mouse was broken and as a result it would double, sometimes triple click things. For example i'd close a window and it'd close the 3 others behind it which was a pain. Though that's highly unlikely since you're saying it only happens with the VNs. Quote
Tom Posted February 8, 2014 Author Posted February 8, 2014 like i said, mouse or any button on the keyboard (which has the fuction to foward text) Quote
