The setup differs from most visual novels in that there is no common route - you simply pick the heroine of your choice from a selection screen and enjoy their self-contained story. Completing all of the heroine's endings allows you to unlock Alpha's and ??? shared route. Project overview I plan to launch a kickstarter so that I can finish (and if stretch goals are met, extend) this project. I said Frankenstein because of my surprising fondness for the book (and guys with soft personalities... and he looks cute). You can't do Lupin's route until you do the others, though. He's the True Route.

Bookshelves are for VNs: Well, not really. I have two leaning bookshelves with VNs, CDs, and (mostly) actual books. The VNs are actually pretty annoying since they're all different sizes. I should probably rearrange them by size or something to be more aesthetically pleasing... the CDs on the bottom row are VN OSTs. To be honest... I don't recommend this one, of all of Ensemble's works. Koi no Canvas and Gokigen Naname are much, much better...

Fight Club

Seeing how much I enjoyed Kara no Shoujo I just couldn't keep my hands off the sequel. KnS2 is going to be my entertainment for the weekend. So far I read the prologue/Hitogata part. It was surprisingly interesting, although somewhere in the middle I almost forgot I was reading KnS. Still I really enjoyed the chemistry between the children and the secluded village had it's own pretty cool atmosphere. I really wouldn't have minded reading more about that. If I had to complain about something, then why wasn't Nanako&Naori a thing. But yeah, it's still nice to get back to the normal flow of the game. I heard the investigation systems were improved, so looking forward to that. And voiced Reiji, and more Yukari... Also, damn KnS2 is pretty. Graphics aren't that important to me in VNs, but what can I say. Really beautiful art is just really damn beautiful.

My high school life was kinda like an anime in certain regards (also kind of like a VN). I spend my free time in school (lunch and free-periods) mostly chilling with my good friends (still hangout with them today when I can), playing card games, making fun of each other, helping each other with school work. In this way, my life was a slice of life comedy. But additionally, a decent amount of girls were interested in me. So I also had to balance out attention from certain females and decide whether I wanted to pursue them or not. The main conflict of this anime I suppose was the decision to maintain my simple life hanging out with friends and doing school work, or to complicate my life by getting involved in the world of females. Needless to say, at the time I wasn't quite ready for relationships and the like, so I chose hanging out with my friends over girls. As a consequence of this, I often pretended that I didn't know that certain girls were interested in me, intentionally acting like the dense-protagonist, since I didn't want to face the drama of rejecting anyone. In retrospect it was kind of an asshole-ish thing to do. Also, most high-school anime takes place in Tokyo I think. And similarly I'm from New York City, and the High School I went to also required an application process where you had to do well enough on a test to get admitted (a lot of good NYC high schools are like this, just like good Tokyo high schools).
