  1. None. I'm a degenerate that likes lolis. I already accepted that I'm a degenerate. So I don't feel ashamed of anything now. Alos Chiru Chiru is a good game btw.

  2. Confession: Today I managed to solidify two of the habits I've been working on with HabitBull after 66 days of consistent practice, and I'm very happy with the results. Now I'm at the point where I can maintain a consistent exercise routine and turn off my computer at specific times without much effort at all. Up until now, I never really put much stock in developing habits, but I'm pretty stoked for it now that I know how effective it can be. Now I'll be working towards a habit of spending 1 hour each day studying Japanese and spending less time in bed when I'm not falling asleep. Lately I've been falling off track with my sleep since I haven't been able to consistently implement the strategies my sleep therapist introduced to me, so I'm hoping I can get it fixed in the next 66 days. I realize it's gonna take a very long time to fix my insomnia problem, so I think I need to properly develop a habit of using these sleep techniques in order to resolve it in a more reasonable time frame. This habit system should help me with learning Japanese too since my greatest obstacle to learning the language is motivation. But the nice thing about forming new habits is that it requires more focus than motivation since your mind gets so accustomed to repetitively carrying out tasks. Although it kinda sucks that I've almost completely forgotten hiragana and katakana, lol. But since I had it memorized at one point in time, it's not as difficult re-learning the kana. I imagine I'll have them committed to memory again in another day or three (I think it took me two weeks the first time).

  3. After a long 2 weeks of searching, this project finally has the second translator we needed to get this project going. Please welcome @Hasa to the translation team. Because of this addition, translation should be starting soon. We should also be getting an editor as well pretty soon. We are still in need of a dedicated TLC who is willing to check through a fairly large script. If we get that, then we'll finally have the team we need to aim to get this project done. Next time, there should be some TL progress for an update. Until then, see you later.

  5. My first visual novel was Gyakuten Saiban and started playing it in 2015. I got to know it simply because I was bored with constantly playing Pokemon on my Nintendo DS so I decided to try my hands on a new DS game. Initially, it was supposed to be a one-off thing but it escalated to me playing the sequels to it. Afterwards I played Danganronpa before moving on to Zero Escape and I've not looked back since.

  9. Nekopara volume 0. There isn't even sex in the game so what's even the point? It can't be the story could it?

    Ignis Avis Venatio

Hello friends I have developed a game. it is called ignis avis venatio and it is about Cain Blanchard is a fifteen year old boy who wants nothing more than to be left to his own devices. When a cute girl said to be a "phoenix" suddenly drops from the sky before him, Cain is thrust into the world of magic. He inadvertently finds himself caught in a game called Ignis Avis Venatio; a fight to the death competition between students and their familiars. The winner of the game obtains the phoenix's powers. What should he do? Who should he fight? And who exactly is this "phoenix" girl? i nearly died working on it and would appreciate if anyone wanted to check it out. cheers http://store.steampowered.com/app/809570/Ignis_Avis_Venatio/

  12. You know, that Curator Connect tool on Steam is really convenient and I'm not sure how many indie devs know about it... ... What? Asking for free stuff? Why, I would never! I just felt like mentioning it...

  13. Started playing my first TLed VN in like, over a year, (Kikokugai) thanks to @Zenophilious bugging me about it until I finally caved. (/ω\) Played a couple of hours so far, and man, I'm loving this. Might end up just reading it all today. We'll see.

  14. Ok, let's see where we went with that concept. It turned out that we somehow came to decorating with that slight slavic touch. Once we had the quasi-gendarme ready, more or less we knew where to go. So, in future of course we will see more of that costume design. On the other side, our setting almost has no boundaries as the civilization could've headed basically in any direction after the Apocalypse. In this sense, our hands were untied and we could use some kind of eclectic decoration. That's the "9th Mill" Gangbanger. In short, this is a story about how a special task force (something between FBI and Inquisition) is fighting against crime and any ideological or religious sedition. It starts as a buddy-movie but then grows into something bigger and deeper. Gradually the Lore started to develop and to encase it we decided to introduce the Velvet book. This vast encyclopedia encompasses all the main notions and concepts of the setting. It really helps understand this world a bit better, it helps to take a deeper dive in Project Pastorate. Of course main story is given out mostly in dialogue but this Book is important addition too. Did you already try the DEMO? Any feedback is really important to us) Please stay tuned for future updates.

  15. Hi, I'm back! After playing the demo, I wanted to share my thoughts, but Lesiak pretty much said everything I wanted to. The things I liked: UI, character sprites, b/g art, CG scenes, sound The things I liked less: Grammar, music transitioning, it's super weird not being able to right click and save As a writer, the script was a little saccharine for my tastes. I'm not sure if the bad grammar and awkward phrases was done in a way to emulate the feel of a translated JVN, but it got a little annoying after a while. I found myself have to reread lines just to understand them. Some lines were kind of cringy. IE: "Saki, I must go far, far away from here." (who talks like that nowadays?) These kids...they don't talk like kids. I'm not saying you should revert to "Googoo gaagaa" but having Saki say "You're the only one who has ever wanted to befriend me" is just odd. Why can't she just say, "You're the only one who wanted to be my friend"? Befriended is not a word people use normally, and especially not children. So...yeah. That's my thoughts. Artistically, the game looks/sounds great. Technically, as far as the writing goes, there's still work to be done But it looks great and I'm glad I got the chance to play the demo. Good luck! PS: Don't tell people that the relationship between Yuuki and Mary is normal. Having to say that reminds of the quote "The lady doth protest too much."

    What are you playing?

Oh, no no, don't you guys worry, that's no more of a spoiler than simply knowing what genre I am reading. And sure enough, I would have never made it to Alternative if I thought everything was like Extra, and so far I'm really enjoying the journey, so I have to thank you for that. You especially, Dreamy, being the one who convinced me to give it a try.

  17. What's most important in my opinion is that there be enough hints that you COULD predict it, so that even if you don't, you can think back to specific moments and go "ohhhhhhhhhh" or even better, go back on a second playthrough and be like "motherFUCKER how did I MISS THAT", I always love that feeling. It's also fun to be right as well, as long as it wasn't blindingly, insultingly obvious while the game tries to play it like a big reveal. Also, the best mysteries have more than one mystery. Like, JUST a whodunit is boring. It needs to also have questions of like, howdunit, whydunit, whendunit, wheredunit, and/or whatdunit. And characters should be actively investigating, it's way boring if the answer to the mystery just falls into their laps, unless the mystery was a background element.
