I'm working on a decompiler for YuRis/ERIS (and a recompiler to renpy). I've gotten the structure of the ybn files pretty much completely down and a game that can run in renpy with about 85% of the scripts running out of the box, though the sprite positions are a bit shifted and renpy doesn't really support relative movement.
I'll publish it on GitHub soon (hopefully), when it's gotten a bit easier to use.
It can also automatically find the XOR-Key.
Is that something people would be interested in?
It can't produce compilable YuRis code for now (though it should be doable) and it's (as far as I know) the first attempt at parsing the complete scripts (not only strings).
Thank you very much.
Alright, only took like a year but it's out.
Check it out on steam. https://store.steampowered.com/app/3169090/Toushin_Gent/
It's like, 10, 20, 30? hours of gameplay for the low low price of 5 dollars or less.
