Setting the files to not be read only fixed my problem Thanks a bunch mate!

Hey everyone. So I recently downloaded Sharin no Kuni from this site, and when I run the .exe this is what happens. My system is set to Japanese locale but it is still not working. I also uninstalled and deleted everything, then redownloaded, but get the same thing. I've downloaded over a dozen visual novels in the past from this site and others and have never had this happen, so I'm quite stumped. Any help is appreciated.
