Yeah, that definitely seems like a windows 8 problem-though those threads don't really tell me how to fix it. Any tips on that front would be appreciated-I downloaded it from a website called eroge, if that helps!

Hey guys, I just downloaded Rewrite (not from this website-though perhaps I ought to,) and was excited to play the game, but apparently something call the siglusengine.exe, or just 'siglus' keeps crashing. The readme came with two other options, neither of which worked (I simply replaced the original file with those-perhaps that's incorrect?) At any rate, I'd really apperciate whatever help you can offer. (I've already changed my locale to Japan-I'm running windows 8-so that shouldn't be the issue.) Thanks very much!
