  1. That and because your skill levels are considerably lower. Mine too...but you know, I can't do the impossible and play insane levels. Not sure how people can manage something like that x_x I only play the regular osu! with a mouse. Tried some of the other types, and failed miserably.
  2. This. As well as my professor with a thick Asian accent that no one understands....
  3. Yeah, he was a no-namer before. But after his second book, he has been putting himself out more. His books are also getting their own TV show with Fox. That, I am interested in. But enjoy reading the books! An advice: This guy thought out his story before he began writing the first book, so everything he writes is for a reason. Pay attention to the small details.
  4. Reading? It has been a while since I have. I used to be either playing video games or reading books. Had a bookshelf in my room with dozens of them. Now? With the University and Anime, I dont have time to read them for pleasure. IT has been several months since I have. But of all the books that I have read, here are my top two, winning by big margins: 2) Harry Potter series by JK Rowling. Book 1 was what got me to love reading. When I was a wee lad, I hated reading and my Reading class was my worst subject. Then I stole my sister's copy of the first HP book and read it to get on her nerves (she was a major reader and cherished her books). After reading a chapter, found myself reading more and more. After that, I read whatever I can get my hands on and grew to love all the other books in the series 1) KingKiller Chronicles by Patrick Rothfuss. My all time favorite, even beating the HP series. I can't say much about the books (2 currently, 1 more to be released 'TBD'), because I will fill pages about why I love it. I highly recommend you to read it, for it is a lovely Fantasy book about a young man narrating his life to a chronicler. I won't give much info on here, so search it up, and give it a look.
  5. Hmmm...sad movie? If you are for Japanese developed, I must say Mononoke Hime. I think this is a must-see and place it high up on my favorite movies of all time. For western movies, I must say The Last Samurai.
  6. Nope, I'd say it is 6-7 on my top 10 list. I mean, P4 is an amazing game, especially with Yukiko and all that. But it wasn't as awesome as Persona 3: FES, in my opinion. But I think Counterstrike, Fallout 3 and NieR were better revolutionary games than P4. Counterstrike with its amazing simplified yet powerful online matches. Fallout 3 was a game that had things I always wanted in an RPG, and logged a good but of hours into it. And finally, NieR was the game that introduced me to JRPGs and Anime. I wouldn't be here without it. You have Solidbatman to thank (or hate) for that
  7. Spent a good hour thinking about this. 5. Counterstrike 4. Fallout 3 3. NieR 2. Persona 3: FES 1. Halo 3
  8. Because Hachikuji is awesome, and I approve of her. The game will not be for me, for my laptop wont be able to run it sadly, but it shall go to a friend. No, I do not mean you Solidbatman. I said to a friend...sorry
  9. Currently playing Resonance of Fate, thinking of re-playing P3P. Once RoF is done, I shall be playing SMT: Nocturne, can't wait
  10. Welcome to the forum! I hope you enjoy your stay here. Your pic seems awfully familiar...can't pinpoint where Ive seen it. Can't say that I have watched an Anime with those characters nor a VN, only read 2 VNs actually. Would you mind in letting me know where that pic comes from? I'd appreciate it.
  11. I present thee...Rei
  12. Ive been watching anime since August of 2012. And when I started, I thought it was interesting and a fun thing to watch. But for months, I never would have called it "important" to me. Anime was just another type of entertainment that I enjoyed which I mixed in witch other TV shows, gaming, and reading. But it all changed when the Anime-Haters attacked. It was one early March morning, when I went out with a group of friends to hang out. We rented a movie, forgot what it was, but it had traditional Japanese themes in it. Needless to say, I got into the movie (Girls in Kimonos, come on, nothing sexier than that). Then my friends, joking around would start to make fun of my fascination with the movie. And throughout the movie, I hear quirks like "Hey Vibrantblade! A girl in a Kimono! Oh wait, isnt she underaged? Like those Anime shows you usually watch?" stuff like that really, joking around, not really meaning it, just trying to get me heated up. They started to make fun of anime in general and the people who watch them, stereotypes really. But every time they remark about anime in general, I found myself a bit...heated? I started to aggressively defend anime and other Japanese Media (like JRPGs). I didn't see it as one of our usual fun arguments, I took it personally. But once they noticed I wasn't taking things as jokes, they backed down. Once I went home that day, I looked at my anime, looked at my small collection of downloaded shows, and that is when it hit me...Anime isn't some medium I use to enjoy my time. It was more than that. It was important to me. It started to become a lifestyle. Something that will take hours of my free time. And that is when it ultimately hit me...that I am an Otaku.
  13. Congrats! I will now feel safe going about the forum with the great Batman patrolling it. We are now in your hands, don't make us regret it
  14. Could you draw Asako Natsume from tonari no kaibutsukun while wearing a maid's outfit? I'll like, love you forever
  15. Resonance of Fate (A troll of a game), Saints Row 3, and Fallout: New Vegas. Already played Fallout NV, but want to get a different ending to the game. Once I finish Fallout, I shall be playing Odin Sphere.
  16. Granted, the drill pierces your body as well I wish for a friend
  17. I actually had problems with the AI. I am creeping around the house, taking out everyone one-by-one, when all of a sudden, Ellie just runs and hides right in front one of the guys, and bumps into him. Luckily, the developers made it so that if the AI messed up, the enemy wont notice it. So all was good. Kind of funny though...but kind of took away from the realism of the game. But as backup? Loved them. They actually do something against the enemy during firefights, unlike other games.
  18. Re-watching The World God Only Knows Seasons 1 and 2 in preparations for the 3rd season as well as Steins;Gate. Bokurano coming up after S;G.
  19. "Not Today" What didn't you like about it exactly, if you dont mind? For me, it was the total shock factor in that one episode. Left me dumbfounded enough to make me watch the rest of the show on the edge of my seat. One thing I didn't like though is the way the witches are portrayed, way too cartoony for me. As well as the ending...the last episode was meh at best. But heck, the rest was amazing, in my opinion. And if i go back to watching the show, my opinion of it may go down a bit, for as I said, that shock factor really got me hooked to it.
  20. (ill still take her) Granted, you got to post your witty responses, but everyone hated them and your image gets tarnished. You fled the forum as people call for your ban. I wish for the end of all thing Solidbatman
  21. Wish granted, but you now spend your extra time conjuring up different scenarios about you ordering from McDonalds I wish for Yukiko Amagi to be mine :3
  22. Puella Magi Madoka Magica definitely surprised the hell out of me. I was forced to watch that, looked like another cruddy magical girl show. But that episode...pulled the rug from under my feet. Was completely blown away. And i must say, I am eager for the coming movie. And yes, this was before i was familiar with Shaft's works.
  23. I gave it a 9.5, it was an awesome game, story was brilliantly written and well executed. Gameplay could have been a bit better, had some issues with it in some areas, as well as i would have loved to actually have chosen what to do in the end of the game. I kind of didn't like the ending, felt like it should have went a different way. But by far, the best scene is the
  24. Definitely interested in TWGOK and Monogotari. Looking into watching Kamisama no Inai Nichiyoubi and Watashi ga Motenai no wa Dou Kangaetemo Omaera ga Warui!. Looking forward to reading the 2nd part of the preview! keep it coming!
