Played the new Mario Party for a couple of hours yesterday. The mini-games seem kinda underwhelming, but that might just be nostalgia and age when comparing it against Mario Party 3. Most of my time has still been with GTA online. Anyone else playing that for the PC?

This was thought when this topic came up last year. I get that it's great to try to facilitate healthy discussion, but it's ultimately up to the community to decide what shape that discussion takes. I mean, the powers that be can clamp down on these "cancerous" or lighthearted threads, but I think that will ultimately just end up killing discussion rather than curating it. I don't think the people dissatisfied with how the community is don't have a legitimate interest or concern, but in some ways it just looks to me like resisting change altogether rather than the type of change.

This. People were saying the same things when I joined the forum, and I've seen it plenty of times on other websites. Fuwa has always had its fair share of shit topics since I've been here. Waifu threads, things like which "dere" are you, h-scenes in VNs... It's true that actual discussion on visual novels and the industry is lacking, but that's been a persisting trend since I can remember.

Playing Princess Evangile after picking it up on a whim. It's better than I was expecting tbh. At least, it kills some time without being boring. Also dropped Sunrider Academy last night. The sim elements are bare bones and the writing doesn't even really stand up against Sunrider, which I thought was already pretty amateurish

I've been splitting the time I've been spending on video games between GTA Online and Story of Seasons. I also picked up a Wii U last week so I'm working my way through the first Bayonetta again before I jump into Bayonetta 2.

Finished Baby Steps, picked up Uchuu Kyoudai. I'm up to episode 25 and holy fuck, do I really like this show! The pacing, humor, characters, setting - everything is just fantastic. This is looking to become a favorite of mine.

They recommend changing any password that are important to you because it seemed to access your locally stored passwords. They don't seem to think it was transmitted anywhere.

Watched about 16 episodes of Baby Steps so far. Probably my favorite sports anime I've watched over the past couple of months. Maybe even more so than Chihayafuru, at least when it comes to the sport bits. Also on episode 9 of Usagi Drop. Sweet and endearing show sugarcoating some adult themes. Pretty enjoyable.

I'm on episode 11 of Sukitte Ii na yo. Nice little romance show, but nothing special. I liked how the male lead isn't some aloof jerkface. That's appreciated. I'm also caught up on Yowapeda. The first 15 episodes were pretty boring in my opinion and introduced and focused on a pretty shitty, very briefly appearing antagonist. This season got waaay more exciting once it started the mountain course of the 3rd day, more so than any single event from the first season, but I'd say I'm enjoying Grand Road far less than I did the other.
