Game works fine without the patch, but as soon as i apply it the game closes right away. Anyone know a solution?

I'm taking overall,for some reason my computer has a shit ton of screen tearing while Aero is disabled,i was able to make it run with if my heart had wings but for To Heart 2 i just cant seem to find a solution that would allow me to keep it on,and its making it pretty much unplayable.

When i run toheart2 it always disables aero mode,and that causes screen tearing,anyway to run it using aero?

My harddrive died on me and i lost all my progress,if anyone has a 100% save and can post it i'd appreciate that

As soon as i start the start.exe it just says loading for a second and then crashes did a fresh re-install but the issue is still occuring.Help would be appreciated.
