Also, I suppose it's time to move on to Grisaia for a bit. Can't to multiple routes on the same VN in a row for some reason >_> I'll have to come back in a couple days. Any route heroine suggestions for Grisaia? For me, and yes, I know this is a very sappy opinion but, I prefer it when the H-scenes come after the heroine's main issue has been resolved and are the ultimate expression of how much the two characters love each other and end with both the protag and the heroine incredibly happy and emotionally fulfilled. As for Grisaia route suggestions, I'd say go with Michiru or Sachi. Michiru's route will make you weep. especially when (saddest fucking scene in the history of ever spoiler) I chose Michiru and Sachi because they are both very fulfilling routes, at least to me. Michiru is really one of the kindest, sweetest girls I've seen in a VN in a long time and Sachi's route is really sweet as well.

do you use a translation program to help you when you read VNs in japanese or is your japanese good enough that you don't need it?

Ah okay, I see it now. Yah, that's just referring to a plot point in the game. And tbh, I don't think it's right to call it a disease since (major plot point spoilers): I advise that you don't open the spoilers (since I basically just explain the whole plot) and just play the game. You can trust me as a fellow Moege lover: you will enjoy the story and the way it ends. There is no horrible ending

Yah I agree with you there, I really wish it had been voiced alright, so can anyone help me get Ayakashibito working? when I run it, it looks like this: Ayakashibito isn't the only game that does this, lots of others do as well (more specifically, most older games) however for those, I can usually get it to properly stretch to the edges of my screen through some careful jimmying, however I can't seem to get ayakashibito to stretch properly. I'd like to try this game out but I won't play it if it insists on being a tiny square in the center of my screen

Has anyone here played Dra+Koi? I just finished it and something about it is really appealing. I'm not sure what it is about it but... it was pretty good. plus, It helps that the heroine is really hot

hmm not a bad choice. I'm torn. I really like Onondera. But I also really like Chitoge. And then there's Marika. I didn't really care for her when she was introduced but once we saw her background (which I won't say to avoid spoiling anything) she suddenly shot up to be tied with Chitoge and Onodera. See, I prefer games that make me feel all warm and fluffy inside. To me, real life has quite enough sadness, anger, and depression as it is. When I read VN's I want to walk away with a smile I can't wipe off my face no matter how hard I try. Sure a certain amount of drama is necessary so that a story isn't boring, but drama is only good up to a point. My main gripe with Harukoi so far is that they drag certain dramatic elements out way too long. It's like "okay, we get it, you're depressed and don't know what to do. Hurry up and move the story along now" Of course this is all my personal opinion. When I look at Sharin, I can see its very well written and I can totally see how people who enjoy those types of stories would be emotionally moved by it. Just when I'm picking out a game to play for myself, I'd go with something else. Could I possible coerce you into making me one? I don't think anyone here would bash on anyone else's opinion. From what I've seen, this thread has been pretty well behaved (and I've been here since post 1)

I played Sharin and it certainly is well written and deserves its populaity, but for me Grisaia is a better VN. Sharin is just a little darker than I like my VN's. Kirishima was my first BB you should be able to stomp 1-4 then. Make sure you have Houshou in your 1st fleet when you do the quest for Akagi. She is one of the best CV's in the game (along with Taihou, and kaga) You should do the quest for her (just sink a CV with Houshou in your fleet) as soon as possible since trying to get akagi without doing the quest is next to impossible (I have seen one Akagi during my entire time doing LSC) and she is amazing random kaga picture:

do a couple crafts for battleships. the lower level you are the higher your chance of getting a BB out of the recipe instead of a CA or CL is. once you have a BB (any will do but you should hope for a kongou-class or if you're super lucky a Nagato-class) all the maps up to 2-4 become trivial. Also, as soon as you get yourself a CVL you should make sure you do the quest for Akagi. Having a full on aircraft carrier really helps things. Also, seriously do go introduce yourself at that forum. There is lots that the people over there can help with. they are far more knowledgeable than me

There's nowhere better to get up to the minute info on the latest updates and tweets from the devs. There's even a guy who translates the dev tweets as they come out also it's been too long since we've had a Rin picture (as much as iit pains me to spoiler this, its NSFW so...)
