  1. I've seen it but I really can't find any decent ones, most of the ones I've found are old and nsfw. I was kinda looking for VNs that have the normal school genre and has a hook code so it might work on the VN reader. Know any? please share ;-;
  2. I never knew this existed. Ty very much
  3. Looking for Visual Novels with certain hook codes that would work on VN Reader any vn will be nice as long as I can read it
  4. Recently I have found this thing called "Translation Machines" and I wanted to use it because there are hundreds of visual novels that aren't translated but I want to play them, so I began searching for tutorials and guides and such. I've done TA+ITH and Visual Novel reader and have done everything the tutorials have asked me to but there are so many problems because not one has worked so far. In TA and ITH I've already done all I can but for some reason, not all of the text is being scanned. Same with Visual Novel Reader. I want to ask if somebody can help me with this problem because I have done everything tutorials have wanted me to do, already installed Atlas, LEC, and Edict2 just like tutorials asked me to. I accidentally saved the Edict2 file into a "notepad file" because I thought it was the same as a text document but idk what I've done wrong. Followed the same options for every tutorial and how they extract files and tried to update them but for some reason they won't update (ITH and VN Reader) I tried using the methods I have found on Making Lover's Geki Icha After Story Vol. 2. Nothing worked, going to soon do it on other Visual Novels and see if it works and I'll post updates here. Please, any help is appreciated. I want to read these novels so bad lmao. Ty in advance
  5. There's something wrong with this "Mazakhon" thing
  6. Karin's second choice is wrong, it has the same choices as Luluna
  7. Is it really just phantom trigger? Does it work on like their other Grisaia series?
  8. Hello there, I've recently been looking for visual novels that have changeable language in one click. I remember playing 1 or 2 VNs and accidentally pressed J and some buttons and the language would change to Japanese and English. So I would like to ask if you have seen any visual novel like what I have described. I am trying to learn Japanese and a lot of the people that I questioned about learning Japanese would similarly answer and recommend this method. Any type of visual novel is good.
  9. ermm, what does that mean?
  10. Well everything aside, I would like to thank you all for telling me all your ideas I've got it now.
  11. Thanks! Well if I have no choice but to wait 3 years just so I can help with VNs well I've got no choice then
  12. Well thanks for all of your help and ideas, it's great knowing all these. For now I got into somewhere where I'm helping and hopefully I can truly be part of their team Thanks man, this one is really important too. I've been looking at lines and these things are required I can see why.
  13. I understand now, thank you for your help. I am already being tested in a certain group to see if I can be an editor for them. Wish me luck.
  14. So from what I understand from some posts and blogs, if I wanted to be a better editor I would have to mind small details and stuff? So basically what I have to do is nothing too complicated and nothing less than good enough. I am still confused because from what I understood there were some sentences that were changed the best words are saved for last and interesting topic in the beginning of the sentence.
  15. I'm in high school 2nd level it's summer here too so I thought I might just spend time around here.
  16. Sorry I am really confused with some stuff and I thought I could ask for more information from others. I understand what you mean thanks for the information. Though I'm quite curious, from all the visual novels I've read I haven't really noticed much sentences that are very complicated. They're basically just simple like highschool life sentences. Another question is, if you need to edit all the sentences the translator translates. I'm basically doing this for learning experience too. My best subject is English so I would like to test out my skills in helping in a project. I am going to get a file from a certain person so that he can see if I qualify or not to be his editor.
  17. Hahaha I'm too shy to ask editors but the reason why I made the title fan translation based is because it's the only thing I can do for now. I am under the age of 18 and from what I remembered to be able to do Translations like in a company you need to be 18+ and has a credit card. One of the many reasons why I want to help is because I would like to make it faster so that I can play the VN. I would just like to have an idea what an editor would do and would require, regardless of being an expert or not. Any help from a person that has experience on being an editor on Visual Novels would be great.
  18. So I recently got interested into translation and stuff. I wanted to know about how skilled one person that needs to be so that he can be a translator for the current project. I know how to read Hiragana and Katakana as well as some words that are Japanese. I am also curious as to how much Kanji is important for translators. There are apps that you can just draw it and then just type in the hiragana and katakana so you can translate it. I wonder if you need to be fast because using apps and drawing the kanji there would be slow.
  19. Hello I am apparently new to almost everything here, I was asking about some roles like translator and stuff but I would like to know what an editor does in helping with translations.
  20. Looks like I understand what you mean about it. I think I can do it, it's going to be my first time. It's also a good practice to change my sentences I use. Forgive me if I'll make mistakes but I think I can do it. I forgot what it was called the way he was changing the word's position, I remember how to do it just forgot the name. But I think I can do it. If that is a good enough answer for you. Give me an example that I have to change just like what he did in that post and see if I qualify.
  21. I can be used as an editor then. Even though my main language is not English I am pretty good at it because I spent most of my life sitting on the computer and talking to people as a kid and until now. If an editor just takes English skills and grammar skills for that and knows a little bit of Japanese, then I can help. It's summer here so I can spend all of my time just sitting here helping and I'm currently learning Japanese using https://www.duolingo.com/skill/ja/Hiragana-1/3 and http://hiragana.training/. I admit and it's hard, but after spending about 2-4 hours I got used to the symbols and I even learned some new words. So I don't know if I have the requirements for an editor. But if I require something else other than what I said earlier. Please tell me
  22. Hello I don't really know what to call this topic but I just went with that title. I am very curious as to how to help with translation. Mainly I would like to know what I require to be the Translator of the current team. For example, I would require to be able to learn how to read kanji and stuff. I would like to know what I would need to be able to help with translation. Because I was sad about a translation project being cancelled like 3-5 years ago I figured that if I want a translation to be possible I might as well try to help. So, it might take me 1-3 years (I'm really just sitting at a computer I can use all my free time learning Japanese) but I will practice everything that I require/need to be able to help with a translation project. But that is not all. I would also like to know about certain roles of a translation team and what they do and they're requirements. Also I would like to know if I would require a certain age, credit card, you know some of the normal requirements other than the role that I want to know about. Advanced thank you for all answers.
  23. Thanks for all of your replies. I'm just sad that it didn't get continued. The VN looked very good to play, still thanks for sharing what you all know about this.
  24. So I have been wondering lately because it was 4 years ago that Gokurousama the translation team was going to translate the VN made by pulltop called "Cocoro@Function" I'm not sure how long translations take, I just want to see if there's any news about it. I really like to play it and I haven't seen any news from them and they're website is down, idk if it's just a problem with me but if you go and check they're website http://gokurousama.wordpress.com/2013/12/02/announcing-the-cocorofunction-fan-translation-project-3/ It says it's down. Is there any news on Cocoro@Function? I am very excited.
