i could see some visual novels being played on tablets as long as they can keep up with the demands of the novel(power, momory, speed, etc) and are big enough like some are and these tablets could be sent to bigger screens like your tv or a bigger monitor. But to play them on a phone(iphone, blackberry ,windows, etc)? to have them that small would, especially the pictures and animation, make little sense. even if you have the resolution and power and ram and all that on the phone it seems too small to enjoy. no offense to those who want it ported to the phones but it is not a simple small game.

Fluff in Visual Novels, anime, other shows, manga, comics, movies, stories, and life, whether an adult area or not serves a purpose. Not every scene has to a direct link/part to the overall main storyline. If it did i doubt jokes would have been thought of, cultural society itself would not be diverse aside from language. In fiction it can and often does pull you into the story, helps bond you to the characters. No depth, no drama, no embarrassing parts that can freeze you, no touching moments that can make you cry, no music that captures your heart and soul for a little. Your emotions are a type of fluff, the way you react to a story is based on fluff or lack thereof. But stories would be mostly bland without it. Think if you will, what would the Harry Potter stories or the Chronicles of Narnia be like if you eliminated all the fluff from the stories. We would not have been as captured and enthralled if we were at all. The stories would not have been great to read or listen to on the audio books unabridged versions. i say keep the fluff that is there in the stories. They would not be as engaging or as great without it.

Hype is always going to be there. It has to be. These companies, they will advertise their products. Imagine if all the hype was gone, if it never existed, you would not know what was in a store until you actually entered. Mario video games you would not know what it was till you played it. You would not even know what a video game was till you played one. Fan hype is somewhat dangerous to listen to. After all, you may not have many people know or care what you like. They may tell you more of the product than you would like. Reviews may spoil some of it for you and you do not want it ruined. You have to be careful. It is true that Fuwanovel is not to blame for people pirating the Visual Novel games(fan translated and otherwise). However this site does make it easier to do so by being one more place you can do so. We should just provide the patches with instructions and a link to a legal buying download site for the game. That way we would be supporting the authours, not contributing to the pirating problems. Doing that though likely would not stop people, the same people would just pirate the game from another site and use the patches Fuwanovel provides. Some would want you to believe that people try before they buy like how people justify sharing roms and while some will legal up with VN's as they can afford them alot just pirate them forgetting about their intention to legal up(if they had such an intention). In the case of lolicon and shotacon ones and some others people have little choice but to pirate as we cannot buy or get them translated legally. Stupid unjustified laws of the western world.

i need to get the script file(s) for Chijoku Sister extracted and a way to infuse them back into the game after they are translated. i have searched for a way online without success. i might not have given it enough of a chance either but that part where it said mexican and where he did that stupid intelligence agencies bit to scare her just seemed like they were not translated correctly. that was where i ended my journey through that story.
