In my trip to Tokyo earlier this year I picked up a copy of the Infinity Plus box, containing Never7, Ever17, Remember11, and 12Riven. All games work fine, but Never7 requires me to keep a "Play Disc" physically inserted into a drive, otherwise the bgm does not play. I tried ripping the disc and mounting it virtually, even using the same drive letter as the disk I used to install the game, but it did not work for some reason even though it should look the same as physically having the disk in a drive from the perspective of the game? It's annoying in this day and age to have to carry an external disk drive in order to play a game I paid for. Is there something I'm missing that can make the game think the virtual drive is a real one?
