Hello! This thread is from ten years ago, and still helped me a lot. Thanks so much for the screenshots, as I didn't know I was supposed to apply and run the patches on the main disk and in Program files(x86) I got the game running just now at 8:53 P.M GMT+8. I am currently on the game opening tab, the one where I could choose Prologue, load, config, exit [(https://imgur.com/a/1xwxkBt)]. I'm not sure if it will also crash on the part where yours do, but I'll make a backup of the directory right now and upload them, hopefully it can be helpful. Here's how my directory is looking, by the way. (Yes I'm using windows 11 lol):
