Yeah I'll try doing that in a bit. I've delted my copy again and gone for a version that hasn't been patched. I'm going to try it all over again. If troubles persist i'll post error here. it looked something like this though 0x00000039 and said it was critical

So I just recently decided to finish If My Heart earlier this week after taking a short break from VNs. Somehow or another I ended up with only the unpatched copy of a game yet no install directory? The game worked fine but i didn't realise until the scene with Kotori in the bath I had the unpatched version. So i downloaded the patch and ran it in the folder the game was located, Now when i play the game any time a sprite appears I get multiple errors. I uninstalled the game and downloaded a prepatched copy from Rutracker and had the same problem, Do any of you guys have a suggestion as to what I should do? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
