I decided to make an account and post since the community seems to be fun, so here goes nothing.
I don't really have much to say about myself, in truth. In terms of visual novels, I started with Katawa Shoujo a while ago, my favorite route being Rin's. Due to the fact I have to devote time to education, I'm not someone who goes for 100% completion of visual novels. I enjoy trying to project myself onto the main character and make choices I would make in real life to see where it goes, but often times I end up becoming prey to the pitfall that is personal preference and gunning for certain routes instead. I have read/am reading Grisaia no Kajitsu (Sachi), Rewrite (Lucia), Little Busters (Haruka), Muv Luv (it's so long that I'm not sure how I'm going to finish the series, still, Meiya) and Majikoi (Haven't gotten very far, but I'm aiming for Wanko). As you can see I have a lot more reading to do.
I like keeping tabs on visual novel projects such as Missing Stars, Work in Progress and Driftwood. I think it's entertaining to see things like these progress and play the final results. I would actually like to take part in a project such as this one day, maybe as a writer.
I also like anime and manga and I tend to drift towards the slice-of-life and romcom genres. I've sat through many anime adaptations of visual novels, particularly Key's works, so that kind of hinders my visual novel reading experience sometimes.
I play computer games, mainly League of Legends and Osu!, both of which I am rather bad at and I like doing digital illustration of anime characters, however I will probably never be linking my DA account unless circumstances change. I listen to Indie, Punk and J-Pop/J-Rock (it's an odd combination, I know)
Anyways, those are all of the notable things I can think to write about myself at the moment. I want to get more into visual novels and hope to find some stories as good as the ones I've already read. I should probably learn to read Japanese. Also, I'm not really sure how this introduction thing works, so I hope I'm doing it right.
