  1. I haven't played very many VNs, so I can't comment much. However, I've played through all of Little Busters!, and I don't think the anime is doing it justice at all.

    I'm currently playing through Clannad, and so far, I prefer the anime, though that's probably because I saw it before I played the game.

  2. Do you remember seeing a "Well done!" message after completing the 6th route? If that didn't show up, that means you either missed a route or something caused it not to flag properly. Try playing through the routes again on Skip Mode while using a walkthrough for the choices. It shouldn't take long at all with that.

    I did Mio's route last and never got the "Well Done!". I guess I'll try fastforwarding through the other routes and see if that works at all.

  3. Hmm, I don't remember any such changes after finishing all 6 routes, just Rin's dialogue changes after completing Rin 1. You DEFINITELY have to play through the entire Rin route, though. If you just start at the end, you won't see a scene at the beginning of the route which is necessary to flag Rin 2.

    MINOR SPOILER BELOW (Dunno how to do spoilers or anything similar)

    You can't use a save that happens any time after the scene of Rin's old cat dying. If you start after, it'll default to Rin 1.

    I've started right from the beginning each time. There have been some differences, like Rin being able to beat the "mysterious creature" a couple times, a puppet show thing, stuff like that. The cat hasn't died any of those times and she stays with Riki. I'm choosing each choice needed to complete the route.

    Each girl's route has been completed to their good end, saved after the final choice, right before the end.

    If it makes any difference, I've been following this walkthrough. http://tlwiki.org/index.php?title=LB!:Walkthrough#Haruka_Saigusa

  4. Just played through my third route in Little Busters. (So far I've done Komari's, Rin's first route, and Kurugaya's route.)

    Kind of confused by the ending of Kurugaya's route, but I know another play-through is required after Refrain in order to get her true ending.

    Off to start Haruka's!

  5. Hm, never posted in this.

    Well its hard to say, I have more.

    Kanon, Clannad, Air, Angel beats, Little Busters - well basically KEY adaptations xD

    from non Key it would be Madoka, Steins Gate, Anohana, Kimi ga nozomu Eien, Fate/Zero

    And from comedy ones: To love Ru, Astarotte, Haruhi, Hidan no Aria, Railgun and Yuru Yuri.

    I would add Little Busters to my list, though I'm still trying to decide if I like the adaption so far or not. I know another season is pretty much guaranteed, but I'm a little frustrated with the snail's pace and subsequent lack of plot development so far. ;__;

  6. Air is my favorite anime, followed by both seasons of Clannad, Kanon 2006, Madoka Magica, AnoHana, the Suzumiya Haruhi series + the movie, Chu2Koi, Azumanga Daioh, Ichigo Mashimaro... That's what I can think of, right now.

  7. Madoka Magica is one of the best anime I've seen. I was also lucky enough to be close enough to one of the areas showing the movies in the US in October, and they were great. Since they're just recaps of the series, I was worried it'd be like just watching the series all over again, but everything was re-animated, plot points were added, there was a brand new opening filled with HomuMado cuteness... I can't wait for the movies to be released on DVD/Blu-Ray so everyone can see them, because they're THAT good.

    I'm also looking forward to the final movie, which I believe is set to come out next year. It's going to be a completely new story, and I'm hoping it'll have our original magical girls in it, because I'm so emotionally attached to them now. XD

  8. It's not that I'm repulsed by it, it's just that it's not really my cup of tea, if that makes sense. ^^" I guess you could compare it to how some people just don't really enjoy a certain genre of music. It is true that those are amazing stories, though. I'm constantly in awe at what Key is able to accomplish.

    I was also thinking, I remembered that there's a Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu VN that I would love to be able to play someday. My knowledge of Japanese is extremely poor having only taken one introductory university class, so yeah. XD

  9. Hi, there! A friend told me about this site and I was so excited to find so many visual novels that I could finally play! Right now I'm playing Little Busters! and Ever 17.

    I'm very forgetful so I don't know if I'll remember to stop by too much, but I look forward to getting to talk to you all! :)

  10. I would love the all-ages versions of Air and Kanon to be translated. I'm not into ero, but I love the stories and the anime to death and would love to play. ;___;

    Also, a translation of Madoka Magica Portable would be the most amazing thing ever. (Dat tea party ending.)
