god yeah, i usually plow through a 400 page book in about 2 days@normal pace and humbly consider myself a rather quick reader. but for VNs it usually takes an inexplicably long time for me to finish. to name a few, narcissu took me like what, 5-6 hours lol? true remembrance 6-7 hours or something, katawa shoujo ~40 hours and little busters original like ~80 hours, making it effectively the longest game i've ever played... i really like VNs, but ur definitely right, they just take such a huge chunk of free time and emotional investment, so i'm gonna lay low for a while...

I'm gonna agree with those that say we stream silly/over the top (not necessarily bad) VNs for fun so everyone can laugh about it on chat. Streaming something popular, like Key VNs and such is really nice and all but might heavily spoil the story for eventual newcomers to the stream, due to its lengthy nature, heavy story focus etc. It's probably better to mention those visual novels in the description/bio field if the streamers are interested in reading more. Although you guys might get more viewers with well-known novels, hm.. don't mind 18+, although twitch will terminate one's account without prior notice if they deem it inappropriate, it's a fine line to walk on with cartoon imagery...
