Hey there - I've been trying to run Cross Channel on my computer. After I download it, I attempt to run it, to which I get an error stating that "cchook is not compatible with your computer." The file is then removed from my computer, leaving me unable to try again. If I try to run Cross Channel again, it states that "the program can't start because cchook is missing from your computer." I use a Windows 8 Computer, for reference. I've tried redownloading several times, as well as switching files off of read only. Is my computer just not able to run this VN or is there something I'm doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated

I think I'll have to go with the obvious choice and say MLA is, I had three days off and played through the whole game and it was one of the best experiences I've ever had.

Hey there - I've been reading through most of the routes on Clannad, actually I only have Nagisa's to go and then I can start on the after story. I thought that I no longer enjoyed slice of life stories too much, but this VN has made me rethink that, still, some parts of the routes put me off and I was curious about your thoughts. I'm Matieu. I played Katawa Shoujo about a year or two ago, and this past summer I realized I wanted to get into the world of visual novels. And now I'm pretty hooked, and hoping to be able to discuss some of these with all of you . I've been trying to read all the "great" VNs, Muv luv, Fate/stay night, Swan Song, Grisaia, and currently working on Clannad. Any other recommendations are welcome. Look forward to meeting you all.
