I actually used to watch a lot of old anime. I think my first were MegaMan and the old Speed Racer.

Welcome to Fuwa, Absolute. There's a lot of fun people here, I'm sure you'll get on just fine. For anime, I recommend Shiki, and for VNs I recommend Hoshizora no Memoria.

Sunako Kirishiki was the girl. She's also my laptop wallpaper. I was with Sunako from the beginning, and I related to her the most out of all of the characters in that series. Without getting too personal, she and I feel a lot of things in common. The one line of hers that resonates with me to this day is "Not a single god would cause a miracle for me."

Ah, I absolutely love the fact that you brought Toshio into this. A lot of people can't handle that part, understandably. I mean, I don't think enough people can relate to him, and that's unfortunate, but I really admire how he's willing to do what needs to be done, Personally, I related to Sunako more. That might seem odd, and not for the reasons you might think. But there are heavy connections to the way we view the world. One good example is the image and quote I put in the initial post.

I have to say that among everything I've watched, the most attractive, well-though, and provocative series I have ever seen was Shiki. The pure amount of insight, the character development, the philosophy not very deeply hidden withing the series. I don't think there was a single part of this that I didn't thoroughly enjoy - including those beautiful black eyes. "Not a single god would cause a miracle for me."

Two words, my friend: HAREM ROUTE. That said, I think my three waifus would have to be: Kanoe Yūko (Tasogare Otome x Amnesia) Amatsuka Mao (GJ Club) Gasai Yuno (Mirai Nikki)

Right now, I'm currently watching: - Sekien no Blacksmith - Utawarerumono - Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Come wa Machigatteiru - Infinite Stratos 2 But Shiki is probably my #1 recommendation. It's a classic and a must-see in my book.

Motivation for joining in on ftl: I see a lot of VN's that are well translated, but have choppy sentances, poor word choice, or awkward wording. It makes me sad to see this after all the translation work, because the full enjoyment can't be gained from a poorly written story. As a writer, it's a little irritating to have to read these kinds of uneditied, unchecked VN. It takes a lot away from the story, and even more from the feeling of the moment. I would love to help make the translation flow smoother, and help lock the reader in further. Conditions: Please be serious about the project if you ask me to join. It would be frustrating to put in a lot of hard work with my team, and have it left unfinished. I don't roll with that kind of half-assedness.
