Muv-Luv Alternative Issues (SOLVED)

Hello,

I downloaded the Muv Luv Alternative files from the main site. I followed the instructions, but by step 2 the English patcher is informing that the version of the Muv-Luv Alternative DVD is not the same as the one for the English patcher.

I decided to just try and see if allowing it to patch, it proceeds to "install the game". I then attempt to run the game and get this message box.

What did you already try? Have tried Uninstalling/Reinstalling. Set to run as Admin and Windows XP (and without), Redownloaded.

Did you download your game from Fuwanovel?: Yes

Non-Unicode: Japan

EDIT:

Turns out what was happening is that the Patcher was thinking it had found the DVD and was use extracting the translation files into a folder. I redownloaded the ISO and remounted it, this allowed me to install the game first, then run the patcher to translate.

can u explain what exactly was wrong with the first time that required a redownload? was it corrupt ISO?

i wanted to put this in the suggested troubleshoots on the download page

I managed to fix it by downloading the ISO again, Also important to only have 1 daemon tools drive mounted, as it might default to the one without the ISO.

Also make sure when you run the Run this Installer.exe, the destination folder is not c:\age\
