Ariurotl Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Katahane: Pretty good, drawn by my favorite artist, but somehow wasn't entirely satisfying. Not sure what's up with that. Narcissu: Haven't read, can't comment. One: Haven't read, can't comment. Period: Average in almost every way, introduces mystery elements that are never really explained (there is an untranslated fandisc, maybe everything becomes clear there). Planeterian: Haven't read, can't comment. Quartett: I think it was pretty good, but I read it over 9000 years ago and can't remember shit. Wind -A Breath of Heart-: Okay-ish, I think. Same as Quartett actually, it's been too long since I read it. Swan Song: Really good, but the "good" ending is a tacked-on disappointment. Suika: Good mystery VN hindered by terrible "old-style MG" translation that makes its confusing plot even more confusing. Shinigami no Kiss wa Wakero no Aji: Haven't read it (heck, haven't even heard of it), can't comment. Crescendo: Loved it, but it was one of my first proper non-nukige VNs, so my opinion is tinged with nostalgia. Eden: Haven't read it, can't comment. DC -Da Capo- : DC2 is superior in every conceivable way. ef: Pretty good, but Miyako is super-annoying and you can't really influence anything that happens. Hoshizora no Memori: Most characters are unlikeable, and the story failed to impress me. School Days: Cynical look at what a more realistic high school romance story might be like. I loved it, many did not. Yume Miru Kusuri: Very solid VN dealing with important issues (though I believe the catgirl story spectacularly botched its own message). Hinatabokko: Really bad and very short, but beautifully drawn by my favorite artist, same as Katahane. Quote
