DimDito Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 Let's see... I surf quite a lot on the internet. I also take the time to exercise my tongue, jaw and teeth 3 times a day. Jokes aside, no. I don't enjoy "working out", but I burn calories by playing tennis or other sports with my friends. Oddly enough, my left arm seems to have more muscle than my right, and I don't think it's the sports doing that. Quote
AaronIsCrunchy Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 All the masturbation jokes :3 I used to run every other day - got to the stage where I could run for an hour fairly comfortably at one point. Last November my heart did some weird stuff and I think I had an angina attack, and since then I've been very anxious about running at great length. Recently got a new bike, it's been awesome to get out again and do some actual exercise. I'm aiming to join my university gym when I go back in August, though whether that will happen or not remains to be seen. Quote
ExtraMana Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 Gonna start next week, my sis is my workout buddy :3 Does imouto spot you? I haven't exercised very much this week as I've been sick. I march at least 30 miles a week plus weight training twice a week. Lost like 25 pounds. Want to lose another 25 or so at least. Cythnar 1 Quote
Rinima Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 Sit ups. At least 30 a day. And a quick 1 mile walk Quote
Eclipsed Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Been a month since I started legit going to gym It was actually pretty sad how much my muscles atrophied from my sedentary lifestyle - 3 sets of reps on my first day for anything using the lowest weights (10lbs) left me sore for days Now i can handle reps of 40-50 lbs (arms, shoulders, chest, legs) etc.. Not really aiming for getting tone or bodybuilding atm, just keeping my muscles alive. Though ppl say I dont look as much as a twig anymore so I guess thats a plus. Never ventured near the heavy weightlifting area (ie. Benchpress) cuz all the buff guys scare me >.> Also didn't even do abs. I should do abs Quote

Keep your muscles dead, it's fine like dat Yeah, definitely not gonna go for muscled. That's gross ;-; Probably will aim for tone somewhere down the road starlessn1ght 1 Quote
atorq Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 I march Are you int the military or some shit? No one would actually march out of their own free will, would they? Quote
Kenshin_sama Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Marching by yourself isn't all that bad, but marching in a group sucks. Kinda weird to do it without needing to though. I mentioned this in another thread when I was talking about my sunburn, but I recently went swimming yesterday to cool down while my AC was broken. Out of curiosity, I decided to do more than just sit around and tried swimming a few laps to test my endurance. Needless to say, I was completely winded after those few laps. Regardless of my "fatiegew" (lol), I actually did enjoy it and tried it more as I regained my stamina. I don't like using machines to exorcise and workout videos are kinda tedious too. The only workout I didn't mind was biking and jogging, but my knees have been worn out for more than a few years now. I like the feeling of swimming through the water, and it's more than enough to tire me out and not put a pressure on my knees. There's a really nice lap pool close to where I live, so I plan on buying monthly passes and getting more involved with it. There's a nearby waterslide for when I need to take a break too. Quote
Guest -Shizuku- Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 30 minutes to an hour of running, I'm living in mountain area and do this 2 hours before going to sleep since I'm dead tired afterwards. Before running it's just push-ups 5 series 20 each. Quote
Lexyvil Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 I'm planning on going hiking once every weekend. It might help me lose the bit of extra weight I've gained throughout the year of mainly sitting. Quote

Eclipsed Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 That better be 6 miles of walking due to business/work/errands and not of your own volition otherwise you cray ~~ My cardio/running skills suck ass. 1) never even knew about forefoot running vs. heel striking until recently god bless all of my PE teachers 2) I can only run for 60 seconds before my newly-born-fawn-tier calves burn out and 3) Don't even ask me how much I sweat when I run. It's worse than a donkey in a sauna #hyperhidrosis ftw Quote
Bolverk Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Been working out less lately, but mediating usually daily. I suppose that counts as a workout? xD That better be 6 miles of walking due to business/work/errands and not of your own volition otherwise you cray ~~ My cardio/running skills suck ass. 1) never even knew about forefoot running vs. heel striking until recently god bless all of my PE teachers 2) I can only run for 60 seconds before my newly-born-fawn-tier calves burn out and 3) Don't even ask me how much I sweat when I run. It's worse than a donkey in a sauna #hyperhidrosis ftw Forefoot running has been a blessing for me. I had issues with my knees before if I jogged too much. When I started to forefoot run that issue went away. You get more tired muscles though, as you noticed with your calves xD Quote

I heard forefoot running is the way to go over heel striking (which can cause other issues) but arghh my legs!@# Quote
Tyrael Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 All righty, I promised my sis I'd be joining her in the gym starting next week I've also been running more and doing arm muscle exercises Quote
Heizei_koukousei Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Now that it's summer I will be going on hikes a lot more often, I mean I do live in the Pacific Northwest. Other than that, I tend to workout my brain not my body Quote
Flutterz Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Turn out scrubbing cars all day isn't too bad of a workout Quote
joehawks12 Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 lol nope. I should, but in terms of baby steps, my instinct greatly overpowers my reason in this aspect. Quote
Ene Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 I run around 50 minutes almost daily. I also sometimes go hiking. Quote
Moka♡ Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 I work out my fingers on the keyboard. B) I really should work out in the summer though, during the school year i get plenty of workout on the commute to school. xD Quote
atorq Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Turn out scrubbing cars all day isn't too bad of a workout Maybe you really are living in a visual novel: "Ooh Flutterz-kun, you have such a nice body, do you work out?" "No, not really, I guess it just due to much physical work bekoz I Russianadian." Quote
kooolm Posted June 25, 2015 Posted June 25, 2015 I'm pretty skinny even though I do a fair amount of sports (play tennis on a regular basis). Was never thinking about starting going to the gym. I personally find it boring. Quote
Lucky Bucket Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 I click my mouse a lot. In all seriousness, I work in a bakery which really burns away calories, outside that no not really. Quote
Scorp Posted July 6, 2015 Posted July 6, 2015 I swim 3 times a week for 1 hour in swimming pool, twice a week (or once, depending on situation) I do rock climbing trainings (or maybe it is called bouldering, in other words i climb thing like this one http://ideasport.kharkov.ua/pics/news/rock_climbing_wall4.jpg)and on each 2nd weekend i travel on the big river to practive windsurfing (yeah, i live in town where is no sea, no rocks and even no river)... And if there is still free time i like to ride my bycicle for half of day through empty countryside roads and forests. But i never do any regular workout. Looks too boring for me. Quote
