How to reach the teens

The teens is where you've got to get them. apparently facebook is trending down (altho still significant).

Tumblr is the most popular. so maybe now i should pay more attention to tumblr. i never really paid much attention to facebook, it's hard to find ppl with common interest using that platform (unlike twitter)

Tumblr's been booming for a while now, though on the VN side it's mostly otoge.

2. other people are using it

3. addicting, usually due to constant updates/new stuff added

I think those are the main three factors for attention. At least that's my experience with why some video games are popular, and part of why I started watching Anime again. (18 still counts as teen I think)

The product also has to be inherently likable of course. I think VNs are potentially addicting to older teens as well, since they contain a taboo element. The most difficult part would be something that grabs their attention and be large enough to consume it.

To be honest, I may be completely wrong. These are just my opinions, but I'm rather unusual (and apparently outdated/don't keep up with new trends).

Apparently Tumblr is crawled with too many teens. I swore that all of my previous followers (before I made new tumblr account) are all teens.
