Alucard Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 It would be nice to have a master list of partial patches and links similar to the list of translated vns along with the percentage completed in a single stickied post. Some projects seem largely playable with partial patches and may be good to get people aware of and behind the translation. Just a thought... Darklord Rooke 1 Quote
Eclipsed Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Maybe one day. For now though just use Fuwa's upcoming VN list, VNDB's 'partial+patch' search filter, and our very own VNTL updates for current translations & maybe you'll find some good partials to read Quote
GLM4475 Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Hmmm, this is very hard to make, dude. There are many reasons I can give you but the main reason is that most of that partial patches were fan patches. Sometimes there are fans who do a translation project without being known by others and they don't even announce or publicate their work, maybe they would do that as soon as the translation project got finished. Alucard Posted May 26, 2015 Author Posted May 26, 2015 Oh I never said it would be easy but that isn't a reason not to do it. It would be a good resource for people. Fuwanovel wants to make themselves more relevant and a better resource so this is one thing that can be done. Quote

I think some Fuwa's staff are secretly working on this, only to realize that it won't be finished soon. If you can't wait for them to finish it, how about you make it yourself? Quote
Decay Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 i will make this. edit: oh god i just said that out loud edit 2: i made it http://forums.fuwanovel.net/index.php?/topic/10328-list-of-all-vns-with-english-partial-patches-and-their-progress/ Quote
Alucard Posted May 27, 2015 Author Posted May 27, 2015 Great job. An excellent resource for people to use if they are looking for something additional to read or even pickup the dead translation. Quote
