Collaborative work story

I'm not sure if this board is the right place for this, but what about creating a collaborative work story here? I'm aware that some of you have much free time to post some jokes/trivial questions but never actually contributed in making a story. We love stories that's why we love VNs. So what about making it together? If you're agree with me, let's start!

Each reply for this should be 5 - 10 sentences and nicely continuing the story (don't ruin the story please). What will this story be about? What is the main character's background and his relation with his surroundings? What about his past, his goal, his life story? What awaits him at the end of the story? It's all up to you to decide! Here's the first lines:

 

The sound of rain could be heard very clearly outside the window. Just like the day before, I opened up my old albums and organized the photos inside. All these pictures I have no memory of. All this background places I never know. But they're surely my face portraits. They showed the exact image as my reflection every time I look at the mirror.

I looked at the mirror and saw the clock telling me it's almost 8 p.m. Oh, I have to hurry. They're waiting for me to give them the material they want. I picked up my umbrella and went out of my lodge.
