Nightmare799 Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 I was recently playing UR (short for Utawarerumono because the title is hell to type out) And got to the point when Hakouro transforms into this odd beastly creature shape. Then it shows the creature fossil which awfully reminds me of this: Did the devs of one inspired in the other or is there some kind of relation? Or is it completely unrelated? Quote
Getsuya Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 From what I understand, Utawarerumono is based off of old Ainu legends. It's possible some Breath of Fire stuff came from there as well, or it could just be a coincidence. Suzu Fanatic 1 Quote
Nightmare799 Posted June 5, 2015 Author Posted June 5, 2015 Well, this sure was an unannounced spoiler. Cmon man, it is a game from 2000. But still you are right, ill spoiler it. Quote
B0X0R Posted June 6, 2015 Posted June 6, 2015 I was almost done playing this game, until I finally realized what the Tech skill did. I didn't even bother upgrading it because it was too expensive. But once I found out, I restarted the game, upgrading the Tech out of the characters. I am about halfway caught up to where I was. Quote
Decay Posted June 7, 2015 Posted June 7, 2015 edit: Boy is this embarrassing, posted this in the wrong thread Quote

Yeah, I believe the fact that the game has no frame rate limit is to blame. I didnt even know there were any combo circles until I have read about it OTI. Quote
