Nosebleed Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Pornography as a whole is illegal in China so hentai was already banned there since 2002. So they don't actually have Boku no Pico. Poor souls. Quote

starlessn1ght Posted June 9, 2015 Posted June 9, 2015 Oooh, that's why I didn't hear about that. I was 6-ish at the time. Poor bastages. I wouldn't wish that hell on anyone Apparently they just realized that teh animes don't always agree with Chairman Mao. Quote
Bolverk Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 'oh my, poor Chinese people. Seriously, China being hilarious. Is hilarious. Quote
joehawks12 Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 ah,China you suck. Now those blowhards who i make fun of on youtube and other various sites have a comeback for when i use the phrase chinese cartoons. Quote
Ragnarok Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Please correct me if I'm wrong but except for anime subbed by Crunchy Roll/Horrible Subs most of our anime Raw is from China? I heard this somewhere before but need clarification. Quote
Nightmare799 Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 These are two separate issues, actually - I think China is just ultra-sensitive to skulls/skeletons in-general. The graphical depictions/violence is probably a notable reasoning (even if I don't agree with it being banned) but it's different from something like an undead issue in World of Warcraft. Awesome. A post commie state that simply declared war on peaceful harmless nation, occupated it, killed tens of thousands of its citizens and destroyed great deal of their cultural treasure is suddenly sensitive to violence. Typical china being full of bullshit. I mean cmon, they banned battlefield 4 for depicting them as the bad guys, when in fact the antagonists were third party made out of manipulated military personnel and an insane chinese military branch commander. Their government is filled with incredibly ignorant old men who dont know shit about modern society and culture. Quote
ExtraMana Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 How did SAO II managed to get banned? I don't think it was THAT bad, lol. China is saving it's people from knowing how harem that show became. Quote
Soulless Watcher Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 "Crimes against public morality"..... ummmm China? If you really cared about public morality you could also stop harvesting organs from the wrongfully imprisoned..... Also, where the hell is Hellsing Ultimate (which has dead body rape, baby being eaten, and child anal rape) and Astarotte's Toy (which focuses on trying to get a child to suck off a young adult who in turn impregnated her mum at the age of thirteen and tries to pass it off as heartwarming and whimsical ) and no that second one is not hentai. My point being China should just ban all anime in general if they are going to be this anal about it, there is no way they are going to be able to cherry pick all the "acceptable" anime from the gigantic pile. Kawasumi Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 China is setting the good example here, anime is dangerous and should be banned worldwide so the weeaboo plague doesnt spread. ExtraMana 1 Quote
