Cyrillej1 Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 I got This War of Mine, Knock-Knock, and DreadOut. There were some other ones I was going to buy, but~ I didn't want to spend too much. It kinda sucks that I have a mac, so I can't fully take advantage of the steam sale. I have part windows on my mac, but it's a bit slow to really play anything on it besides VNs. Quote
Stray Cat Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Eden* is now 60% off: http://store.steampowered.com/app/315810/ Quote
Zodai Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Last Remnant is only $5. I know it sucked and got panned when it was on the Xbox but they fixed it up for the PC release and turned it into the best JRPG that is currently available on PC buy it now trust me gogogo. No I'm legit serious here, Last Remnant will blow you away, especially for $5. Just make sure to look up a guide if you want to see everything the game has to offer. It's one of those where you have to kind of go out of your way to see all the stuff that the game has. If it's that good guess I'll have to grab it. At that price, better priorize Valkyria chronicles. Already have Valkyria, actually. xD Quote
BookwormOtaku Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Purchased Last Remnant and Shantae:Risky's Revenge Directors' Cut Quote
Zodai Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Purchased Last Remnant and Shantae:Risky's Revenge Directors' Cut B-But Shantae isn't on a daily/flash! D: On a side note Witcher II is 3$ right now. I had a hard time getting into the first but two is powerful right from the outset. Very amazing, though I haven't gotten too far. Quote
Zodai Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Who's gonna snap up Watch Dogs? I mean, a masterpiece for that price, it's a steal. Castle Crashers for $1.49 (if you buy it, add me, I don't know anyone else that plays it D:), Shadow of Mordor for $25, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare for $2.49, Battlefield: Bad Company for $4.39 and the Tomb Raider Franchise off 50-80%. I'm buying Prison Architect ALL HAIL THE GREAT PRISON ARCHITECT! That said, I already have Castle Crashers. Quote
Zodai Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Then add me, you scrub Bought the version of Prison Architect that lets you name a prisoner and give them a bio. I'm currently considering naming them after my username or one of you guys, or giving them the girliest anime girl name possible. Thoughts? I turned mine into an immortal who ran around naked with a skull over his crotch. What's your steam user? Quote
Zodai Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Same as my forum name. Also linked to it under my location. It's the one with a picture of GIR from Invader Zim, not the one with the toaster. That's just an imposter that tried to steal my glorious username that I stole from Harry Potter. Invite sent, welcome to the Zodapocalypse. Quote
Kenshin_sama Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 I just bought The Witcher 1 and 2. At 85% off for both, I got them for $4.48. That's one hell of a bargain. Quote

That's one hell of a bargain. 1 runs a bit oddly and can probably be a bit hit-or-miss, but 2 is absolutely worth it. Even in the bundle it's a steal. Just don't be worried about skipping to 2 if 1 isn't doing it for you. I doubt you'll be looking back. Quote
Kenshin_sama Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 Yeah, I figured I'd at least give it a shot and take advantage of the refund system if I didn't like it. But considering my tolerance for shitty games, I might still like it if the story's good. Quote
Decay Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 And thus the system works, as people are more fast and loose with their spending money, caving in to impulse purchases more easily . But I bet many devs will only look at the refund number and not think about all the extra sales they made because the system was implemented. Anyways, I liked The Witcher 1, but it's definitely very dated and doesn't hold up very well. Witcher 2 is really good, although the difficulty curve is a bit out of whack. Quote
Deep Blue Posted June 13, 2015 Posted June 13, 2015 The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky is -30% I don't even need to talk about this one buy "tits" it's really good BookwormOtaku 1 Quote

But I am waiting because the 30% sale is standard. Hopefully a daily sale with 50% or something could pop up. Quote

Decay Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 I actually heavily suspect that there will be a bigger discount. It has gone as low as $10 before on other sites, so it would be weird for it to not go for that or even lower at some point during this sale. So unless you're itching to play it right this second, hold off. Again, refer to my earlier posts in this thread where I implore shoppers to be patient. Even though you can request refunds, that ties up your money while everything processes and is less than ideal. Quote
Zodai Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Okay, I'm confused. I was considering picking up CS:GO during the sale (First Counter-strike game) and saw it was on the daily deal for today, so I decided to grab it. http://puu.sh/io0nD/47084ababa.jpg That said, going onto the store page it says the sale ends on the 22nd, which is the same as the actual sale end as opposed to just the daily deal. So...what's going on? Is it a daily deal/flash sale-level sale or is it just the standard sale price? I'll probably refund it since I bought it a bit too hastily, but I'm confused now... Edit: Has been refunded. Quote
Decay Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 I do not know why it is listed as a daily deal but doesn't have a deeper discount. It should probably be 75%, it has been listed at 50% off since the start of the sale. Seems like a mistake on Valve's end, it's even more mysterious that it hasn't been fixed in the last ten hours. Bought Eden*. I always recommend 100% Orange Juice, just be sure to pray to RNGesus. How good is Castle Crashers? T'was one of the best multiplayer games of half a decade ago if I remember correctly. Lots of couch co-op on Xbox, has online multiplayer on PC. Me and Zeno discussed it a page or so back. Quote

SilverLi Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 "Mount your friends". Wtf Steam? Always the temptation to buy RPG maker when it goes on sale. But I wont. Getsuya 1 Quote
