I suspected the bunny from the start really.

It was sort of predictable.

In these types of 'mystery' shows/books/etc, the person you least suspect is nearly always the culprit(or has some connection.)

I also kind of suspected Adelt being the 6th but himself not knowing it(Again another extremely common trope).

Half Fiend grill could never be the 6th because there was too much focus on her. Too predictable, just another red herring. Same with Hans, he raised the suspicion against Adelt first so he seems suspicious, again red herring.

Swamp grill was also too obvious, can't be her because then its just too obvious.

Of course theres the reverse psychology that the above mentioned names are actually 'it' because they're so obvious you don't suspect them. A Red, Red Herring.

How do I know?: Agatha Christie book series. I got fooled enough during my childhood.

Sorry for rant.

You really did not like the second coming of the 7th?......Okay i admit i facepalmed when it happend.

But looking  back on it i definitly did not see that one coming so it was actually quite funny in hind sight.

Well they spent 7-8 episodes around the whole issue of who's the seventh, then we finally get a good ending for that but then suddenly there's another 7th which makes all those episodes spent on the matter seem less significant.

If it was just for the unpredictable, then it should had been Goldov. With the little attention and how lame he is, that would had been quite a big plot twist, albeit obvious. Furthermore, considering there's another 7th, it means appart from the bunny, yet another is also not one of the 6.

It was not a super suprise of "oh my god I would have never thought it was her", but I wouldn't call it like HotTrax, who implies that either you knew she was the 7th by episode 3 or you are a dumb fruck.

I forgot to mention that guy.

In reality the theory I mentioned doesn't always point to one person, I was tossing up between Goldov, Bunny Grill or Adelt.

So ranked in order would be

Adelt, Bunny Grill, Goldov.

It's always hard to part ways with Non Non Biyori.

This anime made my Mondays enjoyable every single time, no matter what happened on screen, it completely heals you up.

I can only hope there will be another season eventually.

Why? It's not that the first 7th was actually not the 7th, but that there actually were two 7th. All those episodes have not been wasted, or rendered invalid or anything like that. If anything, those episodes feel even more significant, because it means that someone else of those who finally got up together and discovered the 7th, is also not an actual hero. Those episodes suddenly have more worth than before, not less.

The feeling of having completed the seventh problem is missing as the problem returns as soon as it's solved.

Because:

A) You are a masochistic whore who decided to watch all the anime this season no matter what

B) You are someone intelligent who likes to formulate your own opinions about shows before other people polute them with inevitable shit talking

Either one is fine and they aren't necessarily mutually exclusive. Do feel free to take your pick. Also, the manga of that particular series has a phenomenon I like to call tomato face, where all the character's have this obnoxiously large blush at all times. Is that in the anime too? :kosame:

And so Umaru-chan ends.

Probably my favorite anime this season. As far as how well adapted it was, I would say pretty damn well, it's kind of hard to screw up something like this to begin with anyway.

Obviously, given that this series is very episodic, there's tons of chapters left out, but the ones that were put in were the more fun ones and I liked that they concluded the series on the beach chapter where you can kind of get a feel of how the characters grew closer together by the end.

Some people really hate Umaru, I think she's a great sister and the dynamic between her and Taihei really makes this series better than the typical incest-like brother x sister relationships in tons of other anime.

Whether or not this kind of slapstick comedy is fun is entirely subjective, but I definitely think that it's a very accessible anime for all kinds of viewers who just want to have a good time without thinking too hard.

For those that really enjoyed it, I avidly recommend checking out the manga, and doing so from chapter 1 because the anime skips a lot of chapters and considering they're all like 8 pages long it shouldn't be too hard to catch up.

Now all I hope for is a second anime season, keep the dankness coming.

And now to wait for my Umaru nendoroid to arrive.

Oh my God, Gintama this week is on fire. Just one episode and the entire chivalry air for the Joi rebels that was built up over the years got destroyed XD. No wonder Takasugi left those idiots.

Also Diamond Princess Mutsu is actually quite... hot.....

Well.... Gakkou Gurashi! has been a pleasant adaptation though I kind of disappointed that they didn't adapt the helicopter scene...

Hey, at least we get College of Saint Isadore foreshadowing which is nice if they had a second season~

They even had the guts to preview the glasses Saint Isadore girl at the end! I'm so happy since that's from quite a recent chapter~~

I felt that Gakkou Gurashi had a lot of pacing issues earlier on, although it got better as it progressed (save for that episode 9...).

The changes they made to the plot didn't really add anything of value, but they didn't ruin anything either I guess.

Them not animating the group of people at the shopping mall and the helicopter falling down was a damn shame because those scenes, at least in my opinion, were pretty relevant.

I'm surprised they went  all the way to college and caught up with the manga just like that, which means that in a few years maybe we'll get a sequel, unless they go full original (pls don't).

The violence in the show felt a bit more toned down, although the manga itself isn't really graphical either, but I just felt like the anime didn't have as much of a sense of danger.

But at the end of the day, I do think that the key story was definitely there and served its purpose, so I can't give them too much crap for that, I just wish it didn't feel so dragged out in some episodes.

After considering everything, I would give this adaptation either 7/10 or a 6/10, it's not bad, it has the really good moments near the end, but the beginning wasn't the greatest, so it's really up to each individual's personal tastes.

It's definitely not the next Madoka as some seem to imply.

I'm not sure if I'm happy about the way Prisma Ilya 2wei Herz ended. The first half of the episode was nice just as expected but the happy ending atmosphere somehow seems inferior to the open end of the manga (well at least Drei was announced). I guess they had to handle it this way because the OVAs that will come before season 4 wouldn't make sense otherwise.

Am really gonna miss Shokugeki no Souma, for me it was one of the best animes this season.

Really really want a second season. Can't bear to live without them foodgasms.

More than enough material for an "immediate" 2nd season, so I'm really hoping there.

Why must you do this, Working!? Whyyyyyy.

At least we get a one hour special sometime in the future continuing where this left off.

On one hand, I'm  really happy they did this, because it felt a bit wrong to cram the big conclusion in a single episode, but on the other hand, we have to wait more and that sucks.

Regardless, this is by far the season that really brought Working together as one of the best slice of life shows out there.

It was wonderful to see all the characters grow and develop relationships, and I can only imagine what the special will bring.
