Amane's is by far the best route in Grisaia. But you shouldn't let that keep you from enjoying Michru's. Not gonna lie, I HATED Michiru prior to her route... but damn she gets so interesting. As for Yumiko... it's a watered down version of Makina's... but it's nice to see more of the family aspect. Not to mention there really is no bad ending for Yumiko... not depends on your preference.

Continuing Muramasa at a slow pace. I think I haven't read anything this cruel to the protagonist so far. And those nightmares-- I was laughing because how bizarre it was, but damn. Well, I guess it's time for some racing next.

Lol! You ended up going for Reminiscence after Akagoei the same as me haha. Albeit I have already completed reminiscence a few months back hehe.

I find it really enjoyble to read vn's with broken protags as well. The more broken the better almost hahaha!

It's finaly over!  I finished Heaven's Feel and thus Fate/Stay Night yesterday, clocking around 132 hours according to the timer in the Extras menu.  It felt very long, but the last route went by much faster than the other two, it was pretty exciting and Sakura's story was very interesting.  I'm looking forward to playing Fate/Hollow, (Which I imported not long ago.) though I'm gonna wait for the full patch.

 

I'll probably work towards finishing Makina's route in Grisaia now since I had been at it for a while.  Only other one I've finished is Sachi.  I also have a few other games started, so I guess we'll see where my heart takes me. lol

Some weren't that bad, though there were still a good amount that made me laugh and/or facepalm at the atrocious looping of a few seconds of animation, the awkward pauses, the bad lip synching (this puts dubbed Godzilla movies to shame), and some laugh out loud flubs

for instance in once ero scene in one clip Makoto seems to be wearing a condom, but in other shots (and the end result of the scene) he's not

 

I've cleared the ending I was going for (Two Lovers) and I'm glad that the ending was one that was actually decent. Almost makes up for the clunky story pacing I had to go through

thats disappointing i had high hopes for school days. unsure if i should drop 40 bucks on it or not.

When I first played through it, I got Kotohana's happy ending.. just because I felt bad for her in the anime version. I thought she deserved to have her perfect ending in the game at least! haha

"I can't help but feel there's potential for a much better game in this that was squandered." Yeah, I kind of thought the same thing.  It may just be me, but I felt the characters sort of act out of character sometimes or too extreme.

like Kotonoha being afraid of being intimate or even touching... and all of a sudden, at the school festival, bam! they do it, just like that. That just felt a bit off character and rushed. Then they were getting it on at such places like the roof... That's a bit daring for someone who is portrayed to be so shy. I think the story would have been much sweeter if he had gotten to know her better, and have that moment once they were truly more comfortable with each other. It just seemed forced imo.

 

That also pissed me off

about how Sekai was being treated by Taisuke.. wth!

Finished Katawa Shoujo a few days ago my first "real" VN. I must say I loved it! Moving on to my second one right now G - Senjou no Maou just finished Miwa Tsubaki's story arc and plan to play them all as well this week, I found it intense had no idea what was going to happen   I personally am enjoying the side - stories and look forward to finishing the rest of them.

Indie VN Icebound. I've been pleasantly surprised by this game, the writing is GOOD, the humour is actually pretty funny, and I have no problems with the art. Definitely worth the 15 dollars they want for the game.

Completed chapter 2 of SubaHibi now. I take back what I said about SabaHibi, it's quite hard to read longer into. Very long explanations, seemingly random speeches, abstract conversations, book quotes etc. I can manage though.. I still find it very enjoyable to read. I have pretty much decided I am going to complete reading this vn now.

 Oh hey, another SubaHibi reader! Isn't all that delicious Thought Food great? Some of the best, yum. xD That aside, I really do recommend you try to complete absolutely everything in order to get the most out of it (like, an entire chapter before progressing to the next). You don't have to, but... there were some weird and tricky choices that stumped me and I managed to miss huge parts that otherwise would've contributed a lot to the overall experience of the story in that certain order.

 

 

OT: Anyways, currently reading through the beginning of Harumade, Kururu. And if I hadn't done even a little research on this VN, I would've completely shot down any notion to read this. It's only a nukige in the beginning, then the story supposedly starts to pick up and it abandons the nukige premise entirely.

Other than Harukuru, all my other current VN "projects" are on hold so I might actually take some time to carefully re-read Subarashiki Hibi (all that's translated). This is the second consecutive time I'd be reading it (and in English). Well... It's more like I'm "studying" Subahibi rather than "reading" it, at this point. But my obsession knows no bounds, so I must. Might check out a few other VNs for future plans but for now, I'll be reading/playing those two, probably on and off.

Early endings in chapter 1, other than that. There haven't been any major choices really. Besides the one about Yuki explaning the Web bot Robot project.

Either way, I'll do as you reccommend haha. I am going to play some with the choices and see what happens.. hmm.

Reading suba again in english seems like a good idea. Might be able to catch up some stuff you missed the first time around. Or get another view of things.

I am going to stay to jap the first time around, I prefer to read it in jap if it's possible for me.
