Started Wanko to Kurasou, and 30 min in I am really enjoying it. Wasn't expecting feels so early into such a moe looking VN. To anyone who's read this, what's the length? VNDB's broad 10-30 hours isn't really specific enough

Finished Makina's bad end on Grisaia and damn I wasn't expecting that epilogue. Surprised that her bad end as a credits roll out, since the others until now didn't have it. Now I just gotta do her good end and then go to my last route, Amane's route which I hope won't give me too many feels.

well it will give you feels   amane's route is the best route in the whole game imo

Huh, that ruined my expectations for it then. I should really have the "sexual content" tags shown on VNDB since normally I would have avoided this. Though, now that I look at the tags, Nukige isn't one of them, and the comment box on the download page says it had depth, which is why I downloaded it. I have no idea how I found out about it either

Well finished Makina's good end now,  and

it seems they were both made to be not so happy, I mean in both she inherits Yuuji's position and while on the bad end she visually becomes deranged to the point of having Yuuji's body on a garbage bag and hear him speak while hinting at the headaches, on the good she hints that she also has these headaches, meaning that she might go completely mad either way, and on the god end we also don't know about Yuuji's mental state, he got his only position of protector to Makina taken away making her a CIRS agent instead of him leaving him with virtually no point in life other than live for Makina who he can'y do anything for unless with his presence. I loved the route overall, but damn this thing. I mean, it's realist that there is no definite good end and that are drawbacks but I would liked to have a good end that gave me hope for their future. Now that I've rambled enough and vented my anger about this conclusion. Onward to Amane route.

Its not bad though for a Nukige. keep on reading it, there is actually a story line and all

Well, then, you might be out of luck.  Amane's route has a lot of feels.  Can't say anything without spoiling it, but...damn.  Even so, it's more than worth reading because it's great.

Of course I will read it, I just have to brace myself it seems, I just hope that her H-scenes aren't too long, since I know she has about 5. I said before that I like for VNs to have h-scenes on the basis of character development and all that crap, but in reality I don't enjoy seeing them all that much.

The hscenes arent that long, but Brace your self for Angelic Howl because the route itself is kinda long.

I don't mind long routes, I vouch for them even, as long as it's some dragged out piece of story showing lazy writing. But what I need to brace myself for is the feels, I tend to get too emotionally involved and get headaches, weird I know.

Oh, by the way, brace yourself.  There's two instances of "golden showers" in her h-scenes...just thought you should know.  I didn't, and ugh, it was a very unpleasant surprise.

 

Even so, Amane's h-scenes do actually make sense, plot-wise.  Not gonna lie.

Well I kinda got a scene like that with Makina(fuuu I'm still raging inside because of her good end) so I guess I'm prepared, but for some reason even if I find them necessary in my mind I just can't enjoy seeing them all that much.

Just now noticed that Sharin no Kuni has a disclaimer upon startup that reads, "All characters herein depicted are at least 18 years of age."  *cough cough* Mana *cough cough*

They must mean the ones involved in h-scenes and I don't remember Mana being in one, but I did play that game a long while ago so I might be wrong. Also, already on Amane's 1st h-scene, that was quick to arrive.

Mana isn't in one, but Visual Novels do always say that all characters are over 18. So Visual Novels with an obviously young character are a bit awkward due to the initial statement.
