FinalChaos Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 This choice is instant ending. I know, I was asking if Kokoro actually meant 'butler' or something else. You generally don't ask the person you love to become your butler. Quote

It is not a mistranslation. This is just how Kokoro's brain works. That's how far deep her superiority complex goes. Quote

Thats what I had thought at first but then Yamato began to consider the offer. He isn't type to become someone's servant so I got a bit confused. He got a bit swayed by the high pay I guess. Quote

He isn't type to become someone's servant so I got a bit confused. He got a bit swayed by the high pay I guess. I'm pretty sure he explained the logic. At that point he was well aware that she loved him. The butler thing is a mere excuse for her to be with him for longer periods of time. (because Kokoro's social skills are A+++, statwise) True enough, they'd eventually marry(and even if they didn't, point still stands), and considering she's actually powerful, even if she doesn't look it, being married to someone powerful would allow him to be powerful as well, and to make things happen. Protect the Kazama family. Seems pretty logical to me. sirjabberwock 1 Quote

I hadn't considered the possibility that he would be the butler at first and then marry her, so being the butler would be some sort of middle phase. Quote

And remember, the mere "assistant" or "butler" being the mastermind happens plenty of times on TV. It makes no important difference no matter which way it goes. Quote
Kurisu-Chan Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 So in the end : continue Yukie route. Quote
FinalChaos Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 So in the end : continue Yukie route. Yeah, it's the Okinawa trip now. Quote
FinalChaos Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Finished Yukie's route, it was enjoying ride throughout. I never noticed the time flying by as i played Majikoi.  Now I do understand why people say after-story=h-scenes.  I'll take a break tomorrow and get to momo-senpai's route the day after. Quote

Kurisu-Chan Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Momoyo's route is pretty cute if you ask me For me, Yukie, Momoyo and Wanko's routes are all great, but my favourite girl is Wanko. Quote

I actually liked Chris more than Yukie, but I just thought it was cute how submissive the "most powerful person in the world" became once Yamato tamed her Quote

Funyarinpa Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Finished streaming Danganronpa 2. I spoiled myself to hell and back with that game, but it was still awesome. Quote

I'm not talking about any specific event, but rather how their relationship shifted once they got together. I know what you're referencing and how I could've confused you though I'm being extra vague as to avoid spoilers, sorry Quote

TexasDice Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 I love Little Busters more and more. Harukas route was a tiny bit too long, but really good. (Sadly, I predicted all twists correctly and beforehand. Curse my trope detection skills.)  Pretty amazing how much the common route morphed. Waaaay more novels should adopt this.  You don't really want to skip the common route since it gains new scenes as you complete more and more routes. Look back a page. I was wrong and got confused by a key and then I confused you guys with the english language, due to misleading context. Quote
Vokoca Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Just finished Grisaia no Rakuen, and the whole Grisaia series with it. Overall, it was an interesting epilogue. It was great in some places, but then there also were some pretty random grenre-shifts (nothing new considering Michiru's route in Kajitsu) and plot points that either didn't make much sense or were just too convenient. Just to pick one, Yuuji suddenly not having trouble with killing (dozens of) people just when it was 'cool' for the plot was pretty baffling. The writer also likes to retcon an awful lot of things, and has no trouble flat out lying to you at some points either, but the former is easily forgiveable, and the other could be seen as explained in the plot itself if you skew it a bit, but... an 8.5/10 from me in the end. Just like Grisaia no Kajitsu, it had some great moments, and some not so much in between, therefore I'll leave it with the same score. A very fun trilogy as a whole, definitely a fun read. Â As for what's next... Well, I will either continue RuiTomo, or.... well, let's just say that all this talk about Killer Queen got me hyped enough to download Secret Game. I might just as well start that now, assuming it's not incredibly long. Quote
Desert35 Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 It's a great route, my favorite after Lucia (obviously huhu), there is a great change in the layout and especially the atmosphere, not everyone likes Terra because it's very special but whether you like it or not, I can guarantee that you will remember it ! Â I began it and indeed it is quite different from the rest but I like it it's really good to get to learn kotarou's past and the relations with characters I wasn't expecting him to know during his past ^^ Quote
theboxcarracer Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Just finished Haruka's route in Never 7 and it is so mushy and I loved it.  It's definitely not a mind-blowing VN like the other KID novels are, but it's still pretty entertaining. Quote

One of the reasons I didn't like Terra as much as some of the heroine routes was because it features pretty much a completely different protagonist. Well yeah, same body and same name, but almost an entirely different personality. It just felt weird that the final definitive route starred a character you've essentially never seen before, like all of the previous character development was irrelevant. The culmination of all of the previous routes was in Moon and then Terra just kinda drops everything and does its own thing. Pretty unsatisfying if you ask me. Nerathim 1 Quote
FinalChaos Posted October 25, 2014 Posted October 25, 2014 Momoyo's route is pretty cute if you ask me Yeah, I looking forward to see how Momoyo's attitude changes from being a Nee-san to a lover. Not to mention her love for cute girls, wonder how that changes...... Quote

(Rewrite) Exactly, if I had criticize one thing in Terra it would be Kotarou, not only he's a totally different character but now he has a giant stick up his ass and isn't funny anymore, that's a shame.
