Kosakyun Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Hoping for H-scenes...kono hentai! I'd hate to see the same thing over and over again. ...That's kinda ironic, since H-scenes do repeat the same thing. Quote

Jokes aside, I'm going Yukie > Wanko > *inserts Tsubame* > Miyako > Chris > Momoyo Just because. Quote

jaxter0987 Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Just finished Rewrite completely the Terra Route + the oppai ending and I loved them both expecially the oppay ending which almost killed me woth how much it made me laugh when I saw it I think now I'm gonna read either Comyu or If my heart had wings Quote
sirjabberwock Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Well the route is indeed very good. I definitely loved Kawakami War and the unexpected final boss was good too. As for Momoyo, the romance wasn't much good at first mainly because of Yamato getting obsessed with Momoyo, that did change after the war and yeah Momoyo was definitely cute then. If talking about routes - Momoyo route > Yukie route. If talking about the girls - Yukie > Momoyo. Yeah Yamato was uncharacteristically whipped by Momoyo in the beginning. It was nice once he gone his reins on her though Quote
sirjabberwock Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 No but it's the route with the most feels on it. The feels r fer reals Quote
FinalChaos Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Excellent taste, sir. That's why I'll be going through Yukie's route first. I hope there's a variation of H-scenes. Last time I've heard of them, most were anal or something. There aren't that many h-scenes to account for much variation. There are 3 for Yukie if I remember correctly. The h-scenes are concentrated at the end, so it might feel a bit repetitive. You like the dog? What a pervert. Jokes aside, I'm going Yukie > Wanko > *inserts Tsubame* > Miyako > Chris > Momoyo Just because. Next up is Miyako's route after Chris which should be finished tomorrow. I guess I'll take a break and play another vn till the patch comes out, thinking about Tears to Tiara. Quote
grim_tales1 Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Still playing Killer Queen (on Ep 2 It seems a bit better, with more horror and tension though The ending of EP1 was shit, nothing is resolved really or much of a reason given Ep 2 seems to have more tension but the use of the young girl - Yuuki as a loli (?) is just wrong, IMO I'm no prude I just felt uncomfortable with her H scenes (theyre taking a bath, but damnit Japan) and I have a feeling the ending will be the same as EP1... Kurisu-Chan Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 I've passed the last H-scene in Comyu's Route 1, so probably i'm near the end. Quote

IMO (EP2 spoilers) EP2 ending is even worse since I simply HATED Yuuki. Those h scenes are fucked up, man. I'd say I liked Sakumi much more, but my favorite character was Fumika by far. Too bad she does nto getan episode/h-scene of her own .( Her death in EP2 was especially sad :'( Quote
Vokoca Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 How do the episodes work? I still wasn't motivated enough to continue, so I'm still at the beginning of EP1 Souichi, Sakumi and Fumika exploring the place after they were most likely ditched by Reika and Gouda-san. Quote

hydro Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Killer Queen doesn't have "routes" per se. There's just two linear episodes with no choices. The second episode is a re-telling of the first that unfolds differently, which as mentioned above is unlocked once the first episode is complete. Quote

Oh, I suppose that's where Secret Game differs, then, since there are four options when you start the VN (one is EP1 and the rest is greyed out). Let's see if they can pull it off 4 times. Quote

Vokoca Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Has Secret Game been translated yet? (Killer Queen SPOILERS) I just want an episode where Fumika survives Nope, I'm reading in Japanese Also, I've magnificently spoiled myself while replying because I'm stupid, so I'll tell you if there's an episode like that. crunchytaco Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Ok, I got back in VNs again recently. I'm going to finish off G-String. It's uncanny how similar the company decided to make their two games. Quote

Thanks! (regarding the matter in the spoiler tags) I'm sorry I spoiled you ._: To be honest though, I spoil myself on games I want all the time too. I'm consistently stupid in that regard XD Quote
grim_tales1 Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Looks like it could be some time before Secret Game is done - it seems the team are translating 12 Riven again now. Quote

I'd take 12Riven over KQ any day. Nice to see they're going on with that. Those guys (Lemnisca I think) translate some great VN's. grim_tales1 1 Quote
Kosakyun Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Currently replaying Kamidori Alchemy Meister. Ah, the feeling of losing all your previous progress! I am determined to finish this though, so I will prevail! Lastly, Deadbeat Dungeon best. Mr Poltroon 1 Quote
Darklord Rooke Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 I'll be playing Season of the Wolf (by Winterwolves) just as soon as it's "officially" released... which should be in a few hours. Very excited :3 Quote
Decay Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Ok, I got back in VNs again recently. I'm going to finish off G-String. It's uncanny how similar the company decided to make their two games. Akabei Soft are responsible for way more than two games. Most of the games, as well as the games they publish and the games from developers who split off from them share some similarities. The biggest one probably being protagonists with strong personalities and/or wills who drive the story forward. Unfortunately there aren't any active translation projects for any of the other games from that family of developers. Quote

Looseboy's written both (all three of, counting the FD) of the ones that've been translated..... It's more affection for the author than the company. It's also why they're similar. Quote
