DimDito Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Grisaia no Kajitsu, because everyone keeps pestering me about it. Quote
Mr Poltroon Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Currently playing Shinigami no Kiss wa Wakare no Aji. (Symphonic rain as well, when I feel like it) Grisaia no Kajitsu, because everyone keeps pestering me about it. It's your fault you have terrible taste. Of course people feel inclined to drop masterpieces upon you. Quote
FruitsPunchSamurai Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 About to start ChuSingura 46+1. My penpal from Japan told me to give this one a try because she said it was really good, and by the looks of all the samurai girls and from what others have said about it, it is a great vn. Quote
Vokoca Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 Just got the bad ending in AkaGoei2, that was some crazy shit. How am I even supposed to handle all those new characters? Got a bit confused by the last dialogue, but that only made it even better. This was getting so epic I was jhonestly glad it was a bad ending - otherwise I'd feel like I did the best route too soon. I think it's time to do the routes I'm not interested in first. I think I'll go for Sayo if I can, since I like her the least from the cast. Quote

Chigau-! -_- Granted I don't regret this, it certainly is one of the best VNs out there. Just got the bad ending in AkaGoei2, that was some crazy shit. Vokoca Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Come on Voko senpai... a little peek at the guide? Wont do you any harm. Come oon... *bad influence* I don't really a need one, at least not yet. I have a pretty good idea of what which choice does so far, and I haven't gotten stuck yet either. Not a difficult VN choice wise - it's definitely no Kara no Shoujo. Edit: Just got Sayo's ending. Well, that was fast... The "route" had only like three new scenes, including the ending... Well, I guess I'll get on Shion's next. Quote
Vokoca Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Finished Shion's route in AkaGoei2. Well, it was more or less what I expected, felt like a bonus thing like Sayo's. At least there was a bit of dere at the end, was worth it I guess. Just finished Sachi's route in Grisaia no Kajitsu, and, as expected, I cried like a baby at the good end. Man...dem feels...they hit you like a freight train... I didn't really like Sachi's bad end, though. It felt...rushed, and not very realistic. I mean, it's ironic as hell, but it didn't make me feel the way Amane's bad end did. That one felt incredibly possible, and hit like a kick in the gut. That's just me, though. I thought Sachi's good end was hands down the best VN route I've read so far, even better than Kosame's and Komomo's from HoshiMemo. Quote
Nyanko Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 Finished World End Economica ep 1 and decided not to buy ep 2 and 3. Continuing with Ayakashibito now. Quote
Darkshine Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Fate/Stay Night Just finished the Fate arc and can now go to the Unlimited Blades Works arc. Quote
Kenshin_sama Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 I just started Air now that Sheeta's patch has been released. Been a really nice read so far. Damn I miss Misuzu so much. <3 Out of curiosity, I decided to go with one of the choices in the common route that unlocked an H scene just to confirm the rumors. God, to call those scenes horrible is an understatement. I have made up my mind to go through all the choices that do not include H scenes. I don't want to have any more of a scarred image of Misuzu than I have already. It was absolutely atrocious. Otherwise, this is still a fantastic game. I haven't watched the anime in a while so I'm not quite sure how to compare it right now. But from what I do remember, Misuzu feels slightly different (I could be wrong). I'm sure I'll notice more once I get to Summer and Air. Quote
hussien-11 Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 I've just finished Kokoro's Route in Remember 11, it's clear that the game was cut duo to costs but the experience didn't disappoint, as good as you would expect from the series : ) I'll play Saturo's Route before jumping to any conclusions, but I have some thoughts. Aggressor Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Finished Shion's route in AkaGoei2. Well, it was more or less what I expected, felt like a bonus thing like Sayo's. At least there was a bit of dere at the end, was worth it I guess. Yeah, she was so tsun that it definitely was interesting to see Btw at this point you can read 2 "beach" routes per day, since they have little difference. But there's a completely different "non-beach" one you haven't seen yet, lol. Good pace! I'm reading an English-translated Comu for a change. Well, it's not very breathtaking and sometimes outright boring, but Kagome The Great and Mayuki the Flat keep me going for now. Planning to finish it before Friday when Koiken Otome FD comes out. Berilium Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 I finished Zero, Heaven and Sky Saga in Cho Dengeki Stryker. It was pretty damn awesome and now I'll do the rest so I can move onto the next VN. Quote
douggle Posted April 20, 2014 Posted April 20, 2014 Finished Ever 17 working on Persona 4. ( i know its more of a RPG than a VN but it has VN elements) Quote
Vokoca Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 After failing to get on Shouko's route two times, I've finished Reika's, Kiyomi's and Kaoru's routes instead. Kaoru was incredibly cute, but the route itself was pretty disappointing, since it was pretty much Reika's with some differences. That's the only thing I don't like much about this VN so far, how some routes share the same base. It feels kind of... lazy? In that sense, Kiyomi's route would be the best out of these three, since it was unique - but the climax was sorely disappointing compared to the other two, on the other hand. Those routes are definitely on top so far when it comes to the action. EDIT: Huh, I got to Shouko's route no problem now, I guess it was just blocked before. That was weird. That said, I hear Anzu has a route on the fandisc? I had a quick look but didn't see it, do you have to finish all the other ones first? I guess I'll have to take a break from the last entry and read the fandisc now. Well...that's disappointing. I was looking forward to the bad ends ever since I saw Amane's. Oh well, at least Sachi's good route was better than I thought it was going to be. On to Michiru's route. My body is ready for disappointment. I know that feeling. Amane's bad ending was the ifrst ending I got in Kajitsu, so it set the bar high for me too. As for Michiru... it's not as much disappointing as it is unfitting, I'd say. Well, I still don't like her as anything else but a comic relief character either, anyway... Unfortunately, Yumiko is where the true disappointment is at, you might want to do her route before Makina's, since Makina has a similar route, just much better written and with better content. Quote

Bolverk Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Okaaaaaaaay. I cleared the Baldr sky dive 2. Got the true route as well.. I am kinda at a loss for words tbh... The game was awesome, the in-game timer says I played the game (dive 1+2) for a whooping 120 hours. I am impressed as well. I enjoyed the game pretty much all the time. I had 1 or 2 times I found it somewhat hard to continue to read on. But not nearly enough for me to drop the game. My vndb scores of the games ended up on 9.0 for baldr sky dive 1 and 9.3 for baldr sky dive 2. Dive 2 felt like the story dragged somewhat in the start and middle segments. Too much re-reading I suppose. It makes up for that with a improved combat system and an awesome ending. This game has become one of my favorites. Kinda tempted to try to see the other endings. But I find it hard to just startup the game. I get emotional when I think about the ending. I'll likely lay of it for a while before I read some of the other segments. Ehmm, continuing to the next vn I'll be reading. I decided on Rui wa Tomo wo Yobu. Quote
Vokoca Posted April 21, 2014 Posted April 21, 2014 Anzu's route in the fandisc in only unlocked after you complete the rest its more about Kaito's past than Anzu though you'd be missing alot if you played the 3rd game without reading at least that one oure from the fandisc Yeah, I've just skipped through all the routes and I'm reading Anzu's route now. I don't feel like reading the others in the middle of the third VN; though I think I'll read them later. Tsuki's at the very least. Quote

First, there is Anzu route in Akagoei-2, you don't need the fandisk for it. Next, you haven't seen the most interesting part of the game yet, and switching to something else now is like... whatever, it's just not right B) Have fun on the dark side! Quote

There's Anzu route on Akagoei2? Yesyesyes-- And don't worry, I'm just reading the Anzu route in the fandisc - I'm not even switching VNs, it's all a part of the trinity release; so it's like a very long flashback. I should be done with this route soon, then it's right back to Shuumatsuron. The fun thing about not using a guide is finding out what the choices do - and I haven't gotten stuck yet, just attempted to do some routes out of order. Well, at least I got to see an extra scene, I think. Quote

From what I heared about the fandisk, I don't think there's something about Kaito's childhood in it that is not covered in the second game flashbacks, so you'll just be forced to read it twice (probably, please tell me later if it's not so). And yes, I didn't use a guide myself (I was too far away from internet when I was reading it on my laptop), and I don't use guides in general... but I spent a fair amount of time trying to figure out how the damn system works Had to start over for about 10 times... oh well.
