2) Itagaki sister's

3) Miyako + Momoyo

the last two are on the same route.

Playing dating sim called "SweetHeart" on the iOS (I don't know about andriod) and it wouldn't be bad if the ENG translation wasn't garbage. Normally I don't care if the ENG is broken or something like that but when it comes to choices sometimes I don't even know what they are asking. I was going to drop it but I like the art and it's fun to play on my phone so I'm giving it another shot.

I'm reading the Danganronpa's 4th class trial, now.

The riddle about Strawberry and Grape houses is a quite interesting, though. To find out an answer about the building is more interesting than about the killer. lol.

So, there are only six chapters at all, and that's why I guess I'll finish read it soon.

Made a tiny amount of progress in Kanon, and even though I already knew this, man, the art leaves something to be desired.  I normally find characters in VNs drawn in typical "anime style" fairly appealing, but ugh, something about Kanon's characters bugs me.  The fact that their mouths are right under their noses is definitely a major annoyance.  It makes their expressions look a lot stranger than they should.

No thoughts about the story yet, besides the typical "protag has memory problems" setup, which is fairly cliche.

I first thought the art was bad too so I stopped playing it but now it's kinda charming to me. Still haven't gotten around to play it tho. Play it for a while and you'll get used to it.

Don't get me wrong, it's not bad enough that I'll drop it (that'd require a sloppily-made Microsoft Paint VN or a decent amount of the MGQ sprites), it just kinda irks me.  I've been spoiled with high-quality modern CGs and character sprites   :sachi:

No no I didn't get you wrong but just wanted to say you'll get used to it. I formed my earlier post badly.

Been playing clean-up with my visual novel library. Trying to complete all the half finished titles that I dropped like, Sagara Family, the latest Sono Hanabira, President is my girlfriend fandisk, Fate Hollow Atraxia, and little witch romanesque. Which reminds me, how come there isn't a walkthrough of Little Witch Romanesque I know there are a boatload of endings.

One day I will finish G-senjou... Hopefully...

I'm replaying Katawa Shoujo (again), trying to finish Forest and also a bit of Sunrider Academy on the side (the story is great but the stat managment sections are sooooooo boring oh my god)

Somebody teach me how to do the combat I'm so overwhelmed by all this terminology and the complicated as hell looking UI :vinty:

Yumina the Ethereal~

Umm it's hard to say from memory and without a starting point. What parts aren't you understanding? Basically, every character uses one defensive skill and one active skill each turn. The defensive skill is passive, and is usually strong to either spirit or logic. The character on top is the one who actually gets targeted by offensive skills unless they're special in some way (aoe attacks for instance, although they're very rare). So when fighting, you want to match the character in your party who is best suited to both attack into and defend against the top character in the enemy party. Then your support characters can cast buffs, debuffs, and sometimes their own offensive attacks. These support skills have specific times when they can be cast, and will pop up asking you if you want to cast them when they're able to be cast.

Yeah, reading the 'tutorial' i was just like wtf but actually playing it is not too confusing after a few rounds :nervous:

There is some nuance to it, though. The most complicated part, which I forgot about until now, is the audience rating for each color. It's basically a shared mana pool between everyone on both sides of the battle, and it gets influenced by the abilities you use. An expensive red ability might spend a lot of the red rating to cast and then give rating to the other colors. I still don't fully understand how some of that stuff works, such as the maximum total rating (which is important to raise, I just don't know how...). Sometimes you get into situations where a lot of the audience rating for one color is drained and you have to switch the top spot out to a less optimal character so you should try to avoid this if possible, but sometimes it's beyond your control. Pay attention to the skills the enemy is casting and try not to get into situations where you would just barely have enough rating to carry out the lead character's actions because often it will get drained before they have a chance to act and they'll have to pass their turn. You can do this to the enemy, however. Doing this is key to some of the boss fights.

I just Finished Okita's route in Hakuoki. (Or reach one of the good endings)

That was probably one the most beautiful scenes I've seen in a while. Two broken but hopeful persons and all the bittersweet feels. It also helps that it looks gorgeous and strangely alluring.

Nice. Short ones are great to relax after a long run.

Is there any you can recommend?

Well actually no cause this is my first time reading a short one :P but I'm sure someone else here can recommend you something if you ask

Would anybody here (who has ALREADY FINISHED UMINEKO COMPLETELY) be interested in a Umineko discussion thread? I started replaying Umineko, things have just picked up, and I want somebody to discuss the crimes with.
