Joshua1207 Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 so i finished up the A/AA endings of Chaos;Head. does anyone happen to have a B ending save file I can use so i don't have ctrl through the game making the correct delusion choices? edit: i just ended up ctrl'ing through the game Eclipsed 1 Quote
Virtuesque Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 I'm afraid that uninstalling the game a few days ago removed my saves since the folder they're supposed to be in is now empty, unfortunately. A bunch of youtube video can be used instead even if it's not the same. Quote

AaronIsCrunchy Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Just finished my first ending on Y;N. As a free VN/puzzle it's pretty damn good, and while not crap-yourself scary, it's certainly sinister in parts. Fast time based events and quite horrific monsters also help with the nervy atmosphere Interesting story as well, makes the other routes worth playing (I hope). Quote

Ene Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Currently reading Michiru's route in Grisaia. It's not bad but it's also not the best. Quote
Vokoca Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 7 times? There's only three endings and two of them only involve choices made in the last chapter. Seems like overkill to have to skip around the entire vn 7 times But yeah, not having the option to stop skipping at the delusion triggers was annoying. I haven't actually read the B ending yet, I just stopped where the ending starts at because it tired me out to ctrl that whole thing. I'll probs read it tonight and give some thoughts on the game Well I read the Noah (console) version, that has an ending for each heroine along with the A/AA/B endings present in the PC version. I wrote up summaries for all of them if you missed it, check them out if you're interested. Joshua1207 1 Quote
the_dive Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 Finished Forest. A good read. That's all I'm gonna say. Now gonna start up Kikokugai. Quote

I'll definitely check out those summaries after I read the B ending. Thank you for doing that! Quote
Lexyvil Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 I'm enjoying Swan Song even more; the more I play, the more immersed I seem to get. I love Kuwagata's character for some reason, and the change of POV is still awesome~ I love seeing the different mindsets. So far I'm at chapter 2-6. Quote
Kosakyun Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Whoopdiedoo. Finished Yume Miru Kusuri. I liked it. It was something refreshing, I guess. Though the sheer number of H-scenes is already impressive in its own way. Will probably continue Higurashi. Quote
LinovaA Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 So, just for fun... I picked up Blue* today. Read it all in one sitting. I must say, that was quite something. I think it definitely deserves a reread, and I am more than willing to give it that reread. I am just sitting here now... listening to the main menu music... not sure what to do with my life. Kinda want to reread it right now... >_> XReaper 1 Quote
Deep Blue Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Reading Kano's route in Air, so far I really like the novel, I think it should be pretty easy to read it even in japanese So, just for fun... LiquidShu Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Imouto Paradise is one of the best things to hit planet Earth. I completed Koharu's route and I am now deciding between Aya or Michika. Koharu's route was really sweet but I do wish they told me more about their relationship. Sure we saw them banging 24/7 and at the end they officially become lovers, but that's it. No how it is going to work out when the Dad comes home, future, nothing. That is to be expected from this, but I do love incest, especially when it gets to the heart of the issue. Quote
TexasDice Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 That is to be expected from this, but I do love incest, especially when it gets to the heart of the issue. You might want to read something like Yosuga no Sora, rather than porn. Quote
Joshua1207 Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Finally read the B ending for C;H. Overall the game was alright, I suppose. I felt like the first 2/3 of the game kind of dragged on. Chapters 8-10 were really nice though and was when the game finally got me interested in what was happening & made me want to keep reading. When the MC stopped being a pussy and the OP played as he fought Korose was pretty cheesy, but I guess that was bound to happen. The scenes were he was in delusions were intense and has some nice music. My favorite scene in the entire game was probably when MC was wanting to kill himself because he found out he was just a delusion and then his imouto came into his room crying and he was all "what's the point, I'm just a delusion etc". Then he finally accepted her warmth, just for her to disappear. That was such a hard emotional hit, I loved it. Quote
Decay Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 I'm not much into incest, so Yosuga no Sora did nothing for me. All of the other routes are kind of bad. Also the translation for them is borderline unreadable. The Sora route had a different translator and is of a much higher quality. You can read that right now if you want. Quote
Cythnar Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Shu, you must play Michika route. Endure the pain I did. >_> XReaper 1 Quote
Decay Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 The Michika route is the best route in ImoPara. Quote
Decay Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 The Sora route really is the only reason anyone ever reads that. Some parts of the other routes read like unedited machine translation. Quote
LiquidShu Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 You might want to read something like Yosuga no Sora, rather than porn. Already watched it, loved it, and is one of my favorites. I might go and read the vn, though I prefer it to be 100%. If the Sora route is good enough as is then we will see. I just bought a shit ton of vn's sooo ;__; Quote
TexasDice Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 I don't think it fair to grade the unfinished routes, as they aren't even edited yet. Kazuha wasn't unreadable by any means. Intersting typos aside. ... Or was it and I was just too drunk to notice at the time? I pulled up a savegame from the middle of the route and scrolled through the log, seemed okay to me. Quote

LinovaA Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 Guess I am on a roll now. Just finished Fault -Milestone One-. Also enjoyed this one way more than I thought I would. I found it started off at a kind of wobbly pace, but then the story started rolling and started to collect itself and really carry its own weight. That cliffhanger had to be one of the worst ones I have ever experienced though. Luckily -Milestone Two- should be coming out this year, so I won't have to wait too long to see what happens next. Great characterization, great OST, nice art, and all in all thematically sound. Quote
Thunderbro Posted June 22, 2015 Posted June 22, 2015 From what I played in the milestone 2 demo, it seems to be greatly improved over the 1st one, the demo includes the first 2 chapters of the game. Of course, if you read those you would be left on yet another cliffhanger, but it was enjoyable. Quote
