AmamiRiku Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 I'm not sure if it's because I changed the system locale but some of my applications (like PowerIso and Adobe Acrobat reader DC) are now in japanese. Thing is, I changed my locale ages ago (about 2 years) and havent changed it since so I doubt thats the reason. Has anyone had the same problem and do you know how to fix it? Edit: I mean without having to change the language settings of each individual program Quote
Satsuki Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 It's the inevitable thing, since lots of programs will automatically change UI language base on your locale. Quote
AmamiRiku Posted July 18, 2015 Author Posted July 18, 2015 ah k, so now i just need to edit each one individually? Quote
AmamiRiku Posted July 18, 2015 Author Posted July 18, 2015 Urgh, well thanks, imma go do that now Quote
Deep Blue Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 never experienced anything like that, the only program that did that it reinstall itself again before changing (bandicam to gomplayer) adobe and poweriso are still in the same language not in japanese Quote
kooolm Posted July 18, 2015 Posted July 18, 2015 As far as I can tell it happens with applications using non-unicode characters. It was a pain on XP back in 2009 when I changed the locale, on win8 most applications seem to be unaffected. Quote
