A lesser known doujin producer started up a kickstarter a while back, drawing heavy inspiration from Type-Moon style works.

I question what level of quality we can expect from the translation (at least based off the english used on the Kickstarter page), but I am still hoping it does well. (but I'm a fanboy/slave to the style, lol.)

Looking pretty shaky if it'll make it to the finish line, so I thought I'd spread the word abit. :sachi:

EDIT: i take back that english concern, looks like they cleaned up the more glaring mistakes since I last looked at the page. :PStill, I have the impression english is not their first language - which is something to take into consideration.

EDIT2: Sounds like a decent translator is working on the project, so ignore the previous concerns. :)

It looks interesting... but I don't own a credit card (I only use cash, money orders, and other essentially anonymous means of online payment)... one thing I hate about Kickstarter is that they make payment such a pain in the rear for those of us who don't use those evil means of payment.

*sighs* I can't get a straight answer on whether Kickstarter accepts anonymous vanilla cards (non-registered).

Vanilla cards are visa prepaid cards that don't require you to sign anything.  However, I'm unsure whether they accept them.

I'm not sure who wrote that page, but the translator himself is actually pretty good, even Rooke was relatively satisfied by his writing. He's also working for MG on Higurashi's retranslation (and has actually translated Index's light novels for Yen Press).

I highly recommend backing this, if not for the game itself, then for what these guys might bring you in the future.

Ah that's a helpful bit of insight, thanks! :) Gives me a lot more confidence in it.

Just shy of a 2gig install - bit of a surprise - expected it to be smaller, unless it's just rough optimization.

Nm, Either misread it, or the install was factoring in some kind of buffer. game itself is about 500mb, which is clsoer to what i expected :P

Still, been looking forward to this one. :sachi:
