Takeru wakes up in an alternative reality where a hostile alien lifeform has invaded Earth. Giant mechs, TSFs, are built to combat the massive creatures, and Takeru is trained to pilot one. The rest of the people in his training squad is the cast of Extra, with the exception of Sumika, who's seemingly missing from this reality. yadayadayda, most of the game is the group training to become Eishi, TSF pilots. By the end of the story, it's revealed that the plan to fight back has been abandoned, and that the only hope for mankind is to evacuate Earth.

 

There are actually only two different endings (three if you count the ending where you bang Yuuko, which is actually pretty informative), with each girl having a palette swapped CG. Takeru is the only one of the main cast to be chosen to be part of the evacuation. In one ending, Takeru gives his pass to the girl of your route, and in the other, the two of them stay together to face the BETA. In MLA, Takeru wakes up at the beginning of this story, so you get to see most of it again, just that Takeru knows everything that will happen, and has all of his skills and iron physique from the previous loop through that timeline. His goal is to prevent that bleak future from happening. Honestly, this is where it finally starts getting good.
