Shikomizue Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Welco- wait... Haven't I seen you somewhere before...? Quote
Zalor Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 You liked Heart of Darkness!? That's great! Most people I run into tend to not to like it due to its associated difficulty. It's been a while since I read it though, but I do remember finding it interesting. Quote
Satsuki Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 I'm using the dark theme, so your petty trick doesn't work on me. Ha! LiquidShu 1 Quote
Fiddle Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 Welcome! I hope you've read the rules. Also, since you're a newcomer to VNs, check out the top 50 translated VNs you should read! I look forward to seeing you around the forums! Quote
sanahtlig Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 I definitely prefer visual novels with story. Lighting Warrior Raidy III Let me know how that's working out for you. Currently Reading: Little Witch Romanesque, Eien no Aselia, Lighting Warrior Raidy III, Last bought vns: Lightning Warrior Raidy III, and Shiny Days (waiting to pre-order Sumaga and Seinarukana) I think I see a pattern here--and it's not visual novels. Eclipsed Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 Actually, looking at all of your created topics, there doesn't actually appear to be an earlier intro thread from you, so this is your first Welcome to the forums ! Quote
GLM4475 Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Hey, you aren't a newbie so I don't need to welcome you, do I? Formality then: Welcome, welcome, welcome kyrt-san to our lair. Enjoy your time and relax here. Feel free to ask/discuss/share anything with us. I think I see a pattern here--and it's not visual novels. Some of those do blend well with VNs. Quote

sanahtlig Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 I-I don't see the pattern? (rpgs?) The pattern is VNs that are least like VNs. 5/6 of the games in your list have gameplay or are interactive movies. Quote

And what good taste Kyrt has - everybody knows that titles with gameplay are clearly superior, and Lightning Raidy is so VERY good. I'd advise him to stay away from Beat Blades Haruka though (heh), a little birdie told me that it's awful :3 Quote
sanahtlig Posted September 27, 2015 Posted September 27, 2015 I'd advise him to stay away from Beat Blades Haruka though (heh), a little birdie told me that it's awful :3 You clearly haven't seen this then. Fetishes featured in H-scenes with the character of Haruka by frequency https://twitter.com/Aru_Naru/status/645103526788509696 What more could you want? Darklord Rooke 1 Quote
