I haven't tried to play this VN in a while and i've tried to read similar topics but they don't seem to match my issues. Basically i'm getting two different errors depending on the launcher i use. There is a start.exe and a regular executable located in the virtual clone drive. I tried launching through both first with the start.exe which gives the first error located in the pictures i've provided and the second using the .exe  from the VCD which gives the second error. I also put a picture of my folder incase anything is out of whack in there. Its just been so long since i installed this i can't remember how i went about it and can't seem to find the instructions i used.

Anyone see these errors before? I

The first error is about the CD not being inserted into your drive.

The second error says the game can't read the KSC-LICENSE.dat file and then it says to delete it I believe? Not really sure what that's all about.

I mounted the files using virtual clone drive, why is it still asking for a cd to be inserted? Under my discs i have koichoco showing up as a cd.

Well the first error is the one where you just used the normal .exe without the drive right? That's why it's giving off that error.

Normally people use a NoDVD crack to bypass this but I guess using a virtual drive works too?

 

The second error is really what matters here I believe. Is the file the error is mentioning even in the Config folder?

Could be corrupted or maybe it's set to read-only mode (check the properties).

The error box says to delete the file entirely I believe, but I don't want to tell you to delete it and then maybe messing up the game.

Maybe you should try a fresh install, you got the MDF file already.

It was not set to read only, however i moved the file out of the config and got asked for the serial. Entered it and was able to load my save. I really appreciate not only your speed but easy to follow suggestions. Thank you very much.

Glad to know the error was actually saying the right thing, forgot that you could just move the file to test the theory lol.
