Muv-Luv Alternative installation problem

Hi everyone, I have some problems with Muv-luv Alternative.

I tried to install it via the patch (apparently this should install the game and the english patch), everything go just fine until i try to lauch the game, I got this error message.

i have uninstalled it and tried to install it via the setup in the ISO but i got an other error message:

Could you help me, please?

 

PS: i use Win 10 if that could help.

First, welcome to the forums and I hope you will have a good time.

 

Second, i will point you towards this thread  for win 10 compatibillity.

The raports for Muv Luv alternative are kind of conflicting.

Some can get it to work and others dont, it is however mentioned that updating your graphics drive may help.

 

Third have you set your system local to japanese?

Fourth, have you tried first installing the game and then applying the patch to the game?

 

 

Fifth, the muv luv series can be a bit of a bitch so somethings simply reinstalling helps.

I personally had one day it did not work and the next day it worked again.

To answer to your questions, yes i set my system local to japanese

I tried to install the game and reinistall it, but when i try to install before the patch, i got an error message, this one:  http://postimg.org/image/pdfhbb14j/

I can't even install it without the patch.

You tried to install the game via native installer when you had your system setted to japanese language as well?

If yes - go in regedit and search for "relic" (dun remember what the precise path, I do not have a PC right now, you will understand that that this is in as it will contain "age" subpath). There you will see lot of paths - check them to be correct, if not - change them to point to actual files (maybe there some missing in game directory, check if your ISO contains some files, which are not in game folder, obv not setup files).

I manage to make something. I just reboot my pc, and now the error message (the second one) does not appear when i launch the installation.

I didn't launch the patch yet but the game work !!!! Finaly !!!
