Current reading Eroge no taiyou and found this joke

Though this manga define Eroge as "A type of PC game bought primaly by adult men for the purpose of jerking off" which I really disargree with.

 

Let's take Akatsuki no Goei as an example. It's an eroge but do you really think that you'd buy it just to jerking off after 30 hours of reading its story? Why not buy a Nukige or fap game so you can jerk off right after you click the start button? 

 

I guess the notion in that is that people tend to classify everything with porn as something you can jerk on to continually.

I'm reading Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou and I can't even begin to describe how hard this manga struck me. Maybe it's because I haven't read that much manga but so far (I'm on chapter 42) it's the best manga I've ever read. Hands down. I guess the closest one to it would be Yotsubato but it's not even a contest as far as I'm concerned.

 

I can't recommend this series enough to anyone who hasn't read it yet. I guess it's really popular but I'm guessing a few people might not have heard of it so for those of you: It's sort of a slice-of-life story set in a post-apocalyptic Japan. Humanity is slowly but surely declining and people just live their lives peacefully as civilization fades away. It's very much about savouring the fleeting moments of every day life. I get a strong zen vibe from it. As far as I'm concerned it's like Japanese poetry, zen inspired haiku and tanka I guess, evolved into the manga format.

First time I've ever finished a manga that was longer than 200 chapters. :P TWGOK was fun for the most part, but I unfortunately have to agree with everyone about the Jupiter arc. It definitely needed better pacing, and the scenario writing was fairly disingenuous as compared to the previous arcs. The Goddess arc was absolutely fantastic though.
