fatesbell Posted September 1, 2015 Author Posted September 1, 2015 well i am just playing it with out music now so if no solution can be found no big deal i still enjoy the story >< i do hope they remake it some time soon tho Quote
Suzu Fanatic Posted September 2, 2015 Posted September 2, 2015 Have you tried to play the converted .oggs? they should play just like any other music file if done properly. If for some strange reason the system cannot play them, it either means they didn't convert properly, or perhaps you just need to install a codec pack (or at the very least, a player like VLC) for them to play. fatesbell Posted September 2, 2015 Author Posted September 2, 2015 hmm well they do play like normal if i just select them and play them I do have windows media player classic installed instead of vlc i just use CCCP for the most part for streaming anime and what not so i figured it would work just as well i've had vlc in the past ill give it a shot OH i almost for got what plugin would i need im lost on that one vlc dosent seem to solve the problem i did run the music files to open with vlc but >< no such luck I wonder if my copy of the game is some how corrupted >< i dont want to lose my save progress tho im almost done with my 3rd story arc now Quote
fatesbell Posted September 2, 2015 Author Posted September 2, 2015 its not to bad its more or less like reading a book and then your suddenly supprised by a school bell ringing it would be better with music but since the game has minimal sound effects and dosent even show combat scenes like fate/stay night it actually works out ok it would be really great if they did a remake and gave it more detale like fate/stay night tho type moon is my fav vn maker so i'd like them to progress some of there story lines farther some secquels would be awsome Suzu Fanatic 1 Quote

(or wherever you have the game installed) I would assume so, since you followed the guides etc, but figured i'd check. In truth, the music isn't anything great - but it still adds atmosphere. Quote
fatesbell Posted September 3, 2015 Author Posted September 3, 2015 yeah i listnened to all the tracks but I did indeed add them to the cd file where i have the game installed it is a external harddrive but it has posed no problems for other games and infact the game plays just fine just with out the music ? so im just stump'd as to why, oh well ill have the game complete fairly soon, now im working threw the game with a guide, now that i played threw it a few times with out one Quote
Scorp Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Check this: 1. You have CD folder in the Tsukihime directory, where is mp3 files (i believe could be also .ogg, but i tested only with mp3), named "track01.mp3" ... "track10.mp3" 2. You have libogg-0.dll, libvorbis-0.dll, libvorbisfile-3.dll in the game directory 3. You are using tsukihime.exe from the english patched version Quote
