grim_tales1 Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Thought this VN sounded pretty interesting (I presume its an OELVN), its been greenlit on Steam but isnt quite finished yet. You wake up with an aching head and the world out of focus. In front of you is a man accusing you of being "fake". He looks exactly like you, down to the last scar and pimple, has the same memories, the same voice and the same personality. But who is lying and who is telling the truth? Who is fake and who is real? With over nine different possibilities, you can either end up as the tragic hero, the sly villain, or an innocent victim. Will you keep your cool or pick a fight? Play through all the endings and take a peek at the truth of your demise. Whatever action you take, ultimately, you must answer the question: "Who is Mike?" http://fervent.itch.io/whoismike Deep Blue 1 Quote
AaronIsCrunchy Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 This does look pretty interesting, yeah! Downloaded what I can only assume is a beta, unless they're going to have it on Steam for free as well. British company, so definitely an OELVN. Quote
grim_tales1 Posted September 6, 2015 Author Posted September 6, 2015 I heard it was going to be free on Steam but they were looking to add voice acting too - how is this possible? Given the premise, I think it would work better without voice acting, I dont know why... Edit: Found the steam link: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=448157808 Quote
grim_tales1 Posted December 29, 2015 Author Posted December 29, 2015 It's available to play on Steam now for free I think http://store.steampowered.com/app/377430/ Quote

grim_tales1 Posted January 17, 2016 Author Posted January 17, 2016 Just started playing/reading it, I like the unnerving atmosphere it generates. Quote
grim_tales1 Posted January 18, 2016 Author Posted January 18, 2016 I wish there was a way to keep track of the endings youve found Quote
grim_tales1 Posted January 20, 2016 Author Posted January 20, 2016 Overall I thought this was a good mystery/thriller especially for a free VN. The music was excellent. It's very short but still good There is some humour in places as well as tense moments. Quote
