Fiddle Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 So we ain't gonna talk about how the game, 2-10 hours total according to VNDB, on Steam was split into two parts arbitrarily? If there's an obvious rationale for this that I'm missing, please inform me and I'll go just home and take a bath or something. I was thinking of putting this into one of those spammy forums because of how basic a question it is, but it seems like flame wars are more likely to erupt in this forum, so I went with here. Quote
Mr Poltroon Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Well, those Japanese type guys did it too, so it might have something to do with that. But I don't speak no moonspeak, so who knows? Darklord Rooke 1 Quote
Darklord Rooke Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 I'm seeing 2 parts in the Japanese edition also. And that means you're not seeing things Tiag... either that or we're both seeing things 0.0 *Double post to give the mods some work :3* (EDIT: DAMMIT!) Mr Poltroon 1 Quote
Fiddle Posted September 7, 2015 Author Posted September 7, 2015 Well, those Japanese type guys did it too, so it might have something to do with that. But I don't speak no moonspeak, so who knows? Oh, I see. VNDB's regular listing habits led me to believe otherwise. I would think that a game listed as two distinct entities on Steam would be likewise represented on VNDB. With this new information in mind, we can shift the discussion of this topic to hats. Did you know that the size of some hats is typically represented in gallons? Indeed, we're referring to the amount of liquid they can store. Here's an example of a 10-gallon hat: Darklord Rooke, Maxel and Kenshin_sama 3 Quote
sanahtlig Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 The original PC version appears to have been split into two parts. They probably stuck with that because the cheaper you can get a product, the better it'll sell on Steam--regardless of other considerations such as quality. Wait, they split a <10hr game into 2 parts and are selling it at $20 each? Who do they think they are? Winged Cloud? Edit: Also wow, the top review comment is plagiarized from a wiki article on a work by Friedrich Nietzsche. What the hell is wrong with people? Is this what the quest for cheap laughs has come to? Maxel Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 I thought that we all known that Frontwing likes money, maybe even more than most of other VN companies. Fiddle, do you like hats? Quote
